Thanks for the PMs. I think I've talked DH into coming! I was wondering about kids too. Sometimes it's just easier to bring them along instead of the hassle of getting a sitter. I'm excited about getting the chance to meet everyone!! Looking forward to seeing you all next month!!
I have to be in Grand Rapids at the AMWAY that weekend for the MiAEYC Conference! The district I teach for is paying for the conference and I have to attend until 4:00 on Saturday, so I guess I will have to miss this one this time. I had such a great time at the other ones I attended.
since I have Re Read the post and am a MONTH off DUH( I thought it was FEB not MAR) I will think about you all having a good time. I am so working that day no way could we make it!
I am fairly new to the Dis. What do you do at these meets? I will be at WDW, staying at POP, 4/23-4/27 (for 3 birthdays. DD 4/23 DS 4/24 and mine 4/27). Have been to WDW 4 other times but can always use new information.
Just stumbled across this and find it hard to believe that there's one of these SO close to home. (we live a block from Novi, but in Northville) So, sounds like a cool thing to go to...
PS - Fireplug, sorry you can't make it. I grew up south of you a bit and have a nephew and niece going to Olivet...
3 things Its a small world! I have 4 nephews there too they all play football! Our son went to another NAIA school and they played against each other. Hope you all enjoy your meet!
Lynn - Lots of things go on at DISmeets, depending a lot on who attends. Sometimes there's pin trading. Sometimes we share photos or scrapbooks of past Disney trips. But the one thing that we always do is have a good time meeting old friends and making new ones.
