20040327 Michigan DIS meet in March!--INDEXED

Work musta felt sorry for me. Because I switched days around to help another girl out I get to be off FRI. night before meet!!!!!! Can we can I'm going HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping to drive up to my parents house and see Firecracker my dog. So I'll be driving in circles i really don't care right now.

Yay!! I am off that day!! I am soooo happy! Great I can bring my kids, but I think I am also going to bring my friend if you guys don't mind. Just in case my kids get bored, at least my friend can take them and walk around the mall or something.

I am sooo excited!! Please please...approach me! I am shy. I am a little nervous cause I don't know any of you guys and this is my FIRST DIS MEET! I am not sure what to expect, but I am bringing my bright smile and positive attitude.

BTW... How do I know who are from the DIS at the food court? Will there be a balloon or will you guys be wearing a green ribbon? Can we have those name tags with our DIS screen name and our real name so I don't forget the names. I am poor at remembering names that's why. OK...thanks I will be there!

Hey everyone - mind if a few Chicagoans join in? DH - MarkRG on the DIS and I would love to join you.

The dates for the Chicago meet don't work for us so we are looking at doing a road trip for this meet. An added bonus we get to have a reunion with our buddies from the DVC Member Cruise #1Mouse and Iluvdisney!

If anyone has a portable DVD player I can even bring a copy of the 2003 DISmeet DVD set - got it today (thanks Barry!)

I know Lars... I really wanted to see this concert and it is only that weekend Luis heard me say it would be neat if I could hear it, but didn't think I would get teh tickets because of the meet... well hard to decide on things like this. Really stinks... we'll have to meet up sometime soon though.

Man, and it looks like this will be a great one!!!!

Telly, I think you won't be able to miss the group. Some will be wearing lime green and knowing some of the people showing there will be plenty of hints to show you that the DISers are there And don't be shy... i've met a good number of these people and they are wonderful and very friendly

Might be a good idea to have a back-up. We had a hard time with it on one DVD player (kept freezing up) but then when we put it in the other it worked fine. Better safe than sorry. Great DVD!

Sorry I am going to have to miss this meet, and it sure looks like it is coming together to be a GREAT one. DH and I have to attend the Memorial Service that afternoon for our next door neighbor.

It's pretty hard to meet a group of DISers! Look for a lot of lime green and general rowdiness!
