Our next meal was dinner at Boma. I started off with a
Pimm's Punch (Pimm's No. 1 Liqueur, Hendrick's, Odwalla Lemonade, and Wild Strawberry)
It was delicious. I always love anything with Pimm's in it!
This was my first plate:
Clockwise from the top: matar paneer, some type of olive hummus, mac and cheese, pap, a samosa with mango chutney, pita and lovash breads, and I think I see some rice hiding under there too. The paneer was dry, like it had been sitting under the heat lamps too long. Everything else was great!
This is DH's plate:
Clockwise from the top: pita, rice, fufu, a samosa, durban chicken, ribs, some type of meat (we both forget what it was), and a roll. DH loved everything, especially the fufu, ribs, and chicken.
We also each had a bowl of soup, but apparently I have no picture. I had the carrot ginger (SO good), and DH had the coconut chicken curry soup (also really good).
I was getting pretty full at this point, so I went back up to the buffet to grab a few desserts. That's when I realized I hadn't had any of the salads! So I got a small plate of some of the salads before dessert.
Clockwise from the top: pearl couscous shrimp salad, watermelon and gorgonzola salad, and mixed greens with some more gorgonzola (I forgot what the dressing was). The couscous shrimp salad was nothing special. The other 2 were delish. The watermelon salad was so refreshing!
I believe that when I got the salads, DH got more ribs and chicken.
Next it was time for dessert!
Clockwise from top: kenyan coffee tart, cassava cake, zebra dome, strawberry mint panna cotta, and we both forget what that last thing is so I guess it wasn't too memorable!
The coffee tart was good. I'm not a big chocolate person so I just ate the filling out of the shell. The panna cotta was really refreshing and delicious. I was so full that I only managed to eat half of one zebra dome. Boma fail.

DH liked the cassava cake. I thought it had an odd taste and an odd texture. Definitely not something I would eat again.
We both love Boma. The food is always good, there are always so many options, and we will definitely continue to go back!
