I forgot to mention on our first morning I had arranged a wakeup call for 6:30. In all our trips to Disney, my kids have never heard Mickey's wakeup call! So I had them all prepped and ready for it and I was going to let DS5 answer the phone (the kids were wide awake by then). Well it gets to be like 6:34 and I'm thinking we're not going to get the call, so I call another one in! I told the lady our call didn't come at 6:30 like it should have, so could I still get a call? She said sure, I'll have a call sent in 10 minutes! Ok, great. So we sit around and wait...watching the clock...and sure enough, in 10 minutes, the phone rings. DS5 picks up the phone. I'm waiting on a big grin or something from him and DS is not doing anything, so I take the phone from him and I hear the wakeup lady going, "Hello? Is everyone awake??" I said, "Oh it's you! We were expecting Mickey!" not to be mean or anything, but who wants a live lady voice when you can have the Big Cheese himself! She said, "Ohhhh you want Mickey, well I can arrange that in 15 minutes." Great! Just enough time for me to grab my shower. I hurriedly take my shower, paranoid the whole time that the call will come while I'm in the bathroom and I won't be able to see DS's face as he's talking to Mickey...as I'm drying off, I call into the room, "Has he called yet??" and DD9 answers, "No!" So I get my robe on and run in there and wait some more. Then DS decides he needs to go potty! "No, DS, are you sure you have to go potty NOW?? Cause I'm sure the phone is about to ring!" He has to go. So he's in the potty and the PHONE RINGS!!! I call to him (ohhh, the poor people who were in the rooms beside us and above us!!!), "Matthew, come answer the phone! It's MICKEY!!!!!!!!!!!" He opens the door and comes shuffling out with his pants around his ankles 
and slowly makes it to the phone, finally picks it up and....nothing...I'm still not seeing any grins....so I take the phone and it's dead silent....no Mickey or wakeup lady....I say, "Hello" loudly, thinking it needs a voice to activate it....do it several more times for good measure....nothing.
Sooooo we're all good and awake at this point. I'm wondering what the heck is wrong with the wakeup system. I'm thinking definitely we won't have the same problem at the YC. And we didn't. But it wasn't a Mickey wakeup call....it was Stitch! He says, "Good morning! blah blah blah..." his voice is so loud and obnoxious I had to hold the phone away from my ear lol. Then Mickey does come on and say that Stitch took over the phone or something like that. But please, Disney, All Star Sports, anyone, bring back the regular Mickey wakeup calls!
