2 studios or a 2 bedroom? Is the view worth it?

If you don't mind the walk to the lobby, you could request the Pumba section. We stayed in a 2 bedroom standard view for one night at the end of September that had a view of the narrow part of the Pemba Savannah. It was a long walk to the lobby, but since we were parked underneath and drove to the park, it was worth it for the view. Good luck!

image.jpeg I have always seen many animals when I've stayed in a Savannah view villa. I have so many pictures like this.

When we were at Jambo House in the end of October they placed pumpkins out for the animals on the savanna. This giraffe was very fond of her pumpkin. But sometimes had to rear her head up to get her blood pumping properly. One time she even reared up on her hind legs as little. It surprised her as much as it did me.

Here's a pic of the view from our standard view 2 bedroom in the Pumba section. It's a narrow area and I would find it a disappointing Savannah view, but it was a lot better than the parking lot. It would probably not be a great room choice for someone who's relying solely on Disney transportation and spending a lot of time at the pool because of the long walk, but we found it very peaceful.

If staying Kidani in a 2 bedroom, make sure to request the Sunset Savanna. We were stuck on a Pembe Savanna view and saw a total of 9 different animals over 5 days. I'm still kicking myself over wasting the points on the horrible view.

We own at Kidani and as of this time last week, it was our favorite resort. After quite a few problems and a crappy room view, we're moving on to other resorts going forward.

Thank you KangaFan! You just did something and probably do not know you even did it. Your excellent photo tells me that you were in the 7th building pod from the lobby on the north wing on the Pembe savanna side. That means there are standard rooms converted from savanna view in that pod other then the GV overlooking Pembe which was previously comfirmed as standard. Until your post, there had been confirmation that the sixth building pod had standard rooms converted from savanna but not the seventh building pod.

Great views! I ended up booking a standard view, and hoping for near the pool area. Trying to use Touring Plans as a guide. LOVE the pumpkin pics, so cute!
