I have 2 rooms at OKW next March. Right now it is myself and 4 adult kids. Can I book myself in one room with the DxDDP and the "kids" in the other room with the QSDP and pay for their TS dinners with my DxDDP credits? I just figured out that this would match our preferred 3TS dinners in a week style of dining and would actually save us a bit of $.

According to all the reports since the changes came out last year, you should be able to do this. Disney no longer cares who you get meals for with your credits, so you can pay for theirs and they can pay for yours.

We just did this last week. I was in a room by myself with the Deluxe Dining Plan and my 3 adult kids were in a connecting room with the Quick Service Plan. They used their magic bands to pay for all of the QS meals and I used mine to pay for all of the TS meals. I just ordered a couple of appetizers for me and paid cash for my food and the tip at TS restaurants. I used my meal credits for all three kids for every TS meal. We were able to do this at Coral Reef, Sanaa, Kona, Tokyo Dining and Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Package).

Thanks
We don't usually do a ddp but this situation will work out for us. Up until a few hours ago I was concerned it might be awkward but it just dawned on me that we no longer hand the cm a card that says"1 adult" when paying for 5 meals.
