2 Princesses, a mom and Grumpy-1st Trip Final Thoughts

I'm getting soo antsy waiting to make resses.. idk about you! But I know you are feeling my pain!

I really thought they would be out today. Arrgggg

They did do more detail with some of the hours on wdwinfo for my week at least. I was hoping Disney would release them. I'm contemplating calling them to see if they give me the hours over the phone. :confused3

I guess I will go check it out. If you get the hours via phone let me know!!!

I love the pictures from your cruise. You're arriving on the 16, we'll be leaving on the 18th, so maybe we will cross paths. Your little girls are so prettyprincess:

I have heard that some lucky people have had luck in making ADR's 90 days +10 so tomorrow I am going to try. Wish me luck!!

Good luck! It really depends on the CM you get! :tink:If you don't get ADR's the first try; try, try again!!!

Any luck making your ADRs?? pixiedust:

Nope, only could do CRT-booked it for Wed the 20th at 905a. Wanted 8 but they did not have it. When my 90 days opens up I may try and swap Crystal Palace in there. Would really like to get there before the park opens.

Good luck! We have all our ADR's and our 90 date is actually Sunday. We started calling at 100 days out. Only once did I get a cm that wouldn't let me. Most never even asked what day I was arriving...I just said I already had reservations and the cm told me to call back that day and they would say ok. Good luck!

Hi there! I'm definitely subbing! We will be at WDW May 16-23 at AKL. I was cracking up reading your plans because the first two days are almost a mirror of my plans. Your daughters are too cute.

We have 2 princesses also. We have done Akerhaus twice now. We went for lunch last year. We did see Ariel there but the food was horrible. If you decide on Akerhaus definitely do breakfast. Lunch there was the worst meal of our trip last year. Just my two cents....

Thanks for the pre-trip report. I'm as anxious as you to make some ADR's. I have booked CRT and Chef Mickey's. Can't wait for Sunday. I've been unsuccessful finding a CM that will let me book early.:sad2:

Wow,someone who will be the same dates!! Very exciting! AKL looks sooo nice!! When we were first watching the planning DVD my hubby asked why we were not staying there. I told him since he was already freaking out about the trip $$$ I thought it wise to stay at a value. We decided to do CRT instead of Akherus. Think it will be fun for the girls! I feel your pain about the cm's. Do you have a pre trippie?? If not, please let me know your plans so maybe we can say hi!

Hi again!

I don't have a pre-trippie and not really sure how to start one but here is the plan so far...

May 16th arrive at MCO around 10am.
Visit EPCOT have dinner at Chefs de France

May 17th Animal Kingdom - DH's birthday so I'm not firm on where we're eating yet. Want it to be special still working on the details. Last year we did Le Cellier and fishing. I'm thinking maybe dinner at Ohana watch WISHES from the beach maybe go to MK for EMH.

May 18th Magic Kingdom I'm going to try to get both of my girls in at BBB in the morning and then lunch at CRT at 12:05

May 19 Disney Studios dinner at Mama Melrose's shooting for a Fantasmic package

May 20 MK/EPCOT dinner at Teppan Edo

May 21 a day at the Beach most likely

May 22 Hop around and see what we missed previously in the week.
Dinner at Chef Mickeys 6:45pm

May 23 Downtown Disney
Leave for Nashville at 4:50pm.

My girls love the pool so we usually take a break mid day for some swimming and nap time for the littlest one. Of course most of the meals are subject to change and will be dependent on my call Sunday. I really do not like the new policies on park hours and ADR's. It's killing me not having my ADR's. Oh well patience is a virtue right :rotfl:

We're excited about staying at AKL. We had dinner at Boma's last year and fell in love with the resort. It is really nice. We've done value and moderate before but with the 4/3 offer we thought we might try to step it up just a little this year. The outlook at work is a bit scary but I'm moving forward like it isn't an issue at all.

I'll quit babbling now. I can't wait for May!!!:yay:

We will be at AK and MK on the same days! At AK I think we are going to do lunch at Flame Tree, Mon is going to be our long MK day (hopefully) I wish we could do BBB but my little one won't be 3 yet :sad2: We also plan on down/swim time. My little one is actually more energetic than the almost 5 year old-hopefully they will both nap at some point.
I know what you mean about the ADR's-that could change everything! I am sorry about the work outlook not being so good-it is a tough time. Babble all you want-May is coming!

Hi again! I already have itinerary changes...Had a really crappy day today. I was brought in a room first thing this morning at work and told that I had two options take a 20k/year pay cut or lose my job and get 4 weeks severance:scared1: I took the pay cut and then had to layoff some of the folks I had working with me. My department of 12 is now me and two technicians. Needless to say I quickly called and changed the hotel for our trip from AKL to CBR. I"m so bummed out... I do know that it could be much worse. I'm just still in shock.

I am so,so sorry. That just sucks!:sad2: That is a big cut to go from 12 to 3. I am also sorry you had to do the layoffs-I have been in that position before. I have heard that CBR is really nice. Have you stayed there before?? They have that redone pool and fun pirate rooms I think. I can understand about the shock-that is just rough. Big hugs to you! I owe you your favorite snack at Disney if we meet up!! Hug those princesses!!

I'm so sorry, that is just awful! I am glad that you got to keep you job though. Just horrible that you had to lay off your co-workers. :guilty:
