Haha, I told BF our kids we're going to be Disney obsessed and adorable and he just shrugged and said ok...no kids yet though (only 22!) but I'm already excited about the first time I'll be able to take them to Disney!!

Also, I see someone mention something about ordering water from somewhere and I second this! I think one of the biggest problems I had down in the parks last year was paying $3 for a bottle of water and also only having Dasani to choose from (I'm from New England so I need my Poland Springs!!) My mom is big on freezing water bottles and sticking them in a sock to keep them cool throughout the day...something to think about!

I recieved my DIsney planning DVD yesterday. Sat everybody down after dinner to watch. Oh my goodness did I cry. I usually tear up at the Disney ads, but this was gulping,sobbing,crying. The kiddos were a little concerned. I kept trying to tell them that mommy was just so happy.
I cannot tell you how many times I am going to watch it before we go. Sigh, I am such a dork

No worries we watch the video 2 to 3 times a week. My DD loves to watch the for kids section. She has found tons of things to buy and even thinks she wants to try Splash Mountain. She is tall for her age so she does qualify. We will see!

Thanks for joining mine! I'm caught up in yours! and don't worry about "watching the dvd" because I have them from years ago..since like 2003.. which I won't get rid of. I get a new one everytime it comes out and I still watch all of them. Although some are outdated.. I like certain videos more and you still get the gist of it!

haha, I just got my planning DVD today and although it's not much different from last year, I said to my friend 'Is it bad that i'm tearing up over watching this Disney Planning DVD?'

Loving the PTR so far!! Your girls are adorable!!

Here is a tip I use when staying at the Pop! Get yourself an over the door shoe organizer and/or hanging organizer to keep your toiletries, hair stuff, ect. in. Hang it in the closet area next to the vanity to keep the counter clear. I also like the hanging sweater organizer to keep DD's toys. I found both last year at our local Dollar Tree.

Great tip, I actually have one from the cruise. Since it is a small space it is going to need to stay neat!

Sooo, some tentative May hours are out. Think I am going to wait for the "offical" ones. I am torn now between CRT and Akherus. Any advice?? I think the "meal in the castle' has big appeal for the girls but Ariel is really the favorite.

I have at at Akherus twice and never did see Ariel. We saw Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, Mary Poppins and Snow White (both times this gang). What meal are you planning? My girls love to meet Ariel in her Grotto... that is where she is in their minds, in her mermaid costume. In fact last trip Emily had to go there twice to see her. We go there first thing, in fact I actually watch to see if she is there early and it is open.... and we have never waited.

Ariel's grotto is located behind the castle, directly behind Dumbo. The opening will be listed on the MK time sheet that you get upon the arrival at the Park, typically opening about an hour after the park opens (but normally she is there early). We normally ride Dumbo after Rope Drop and I watch to see if it is open... and then we go early! Hope that helps!

If we do Akherus it will be breakfast, CRT lunch I think. We also plan on going to her grotto-right after riding Dumbo! Good tip on watching to see if she gets there early.
