I'm not going to explain why, if I did this would be a two page post, but I need to find out the cheapest way to get from Seaworld to the Polynesian and how to get from the Polynesian to MCO (not all on the same day). If anyone has ideas, would you happen to have a rough idea of what the cost would be?

I thought maybe a cab from SW to Poly but I'm not sure of the distance between the two. And Mears would probably be cheaper than a towncar but if I do Mears we probably would have to leave hours earlier than if we took a towncar. I was just on yourride.net and one way is $50!! Seems high to me. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I should probably mention that there will be 3 of us, me and dd's.

For the SW to Poly question, my advice is to check out Mears. A roundtrip between the Poly and Seaworld for an adult is $13.00. My guess is one way would be less :teeth: A cab will be more, I'm quite sure. Here's a link to their website:

A one way from the Poly to MCO on the Mears shuttle is $16 for adults (13 and older) and $12 for children (4-12). 3 and under is free. Depending on the ages of your children, that could be $48 to $28. Makes the $50 towncar price look a lot more reasonable, doesn't it? A cab will cost you at least as much as the towncar.

The only other option is to rent a car for the trip back to the airport. However, unless you run across a very good deal, by the time you add in all the taxes and fees, a one day rental will also end up in the $50 range, maybe more. My advice is to go with the towncar.

Good luck!

I would go to the Fl Tours website and send them a request for a quote. They are the official transportation company of the DIS and have always been very competitive. Ask Andy what he can set up fpr you!

One thing you can check out is the LYNX bus. LYNX is Orlando's public transit system. The Link 50 bus runs from the TTC, and makes a stop at SeaWorld. The fare is only $1.25 each way per person.

The bus departs the TTC twice per hour, at x:18 and x:48, and arrives at SeaWorld at x:39 and x:09... so about a 20 min ride, give or take.

You can check out www.golynx.com for more information.

I like the Lynx idea!! If I use that to go from Seaworld back to the Poly how many other stops do you think I'll encounter. About how long do you think it would take?

The Link 50 doesn't have many stops, as most of its travel is along the highway... It's about a 20 min ride each way. Check out www.golynx.com for full inbound/outbound schedules.

On a sidenote, I do beleive a bunch of folks have used this in the past to get to SeaWorld, and it has worked out for them well.

Chip n' Dale Express - Thanks for the info!! Do you have any suggestions for my one way trip from the Poly to MCO?

Can't really help you there... If it was just one of you, I'd suggest just taking the Mears Shuttle for $15...

If you mean for all 3 of you... *shrug* Mears shuttle would be $45... for only a lil bit more you could get a taxi or a towncar. Other members would be better qualified to answer this question.

Thanks for the bus info Tyler! We were going to use limo service over to SeaWorld but were concerned if we changed our minds at the last minute and just stayed in WDW. Not a problem any more. Thanks. The bus looks like a good idea.

I would have to agree with Chip 'n Dale Express, with regard to your sea world poly transfer. However, for your transfer from Ploy to MCO is you would probably be better of with a Town car service. Here is why, the metered taxi rate from any one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts including Poly is minimum $50.00. That does not take into account traffic delays or other factors that may contribute to cause the rate to go any higher.
FL TOURS is a complete transportation company that can provide you with such service.
We're a proud sponsor of the DIS. You can look us up at www.fltours.com or reach us at 1-888-832-2111
