My mind is boggling. Forget the rag mags. How far can we spin negative stuff to favor the Gosselin parents and TLC -- and also let the addicts get their unhealthy Gosselin kid fix?

I only hang in on the Gosselin debacle because I believe that immense wrong has been inflicted on these children. It needs to be observed so new and better legislation can be enacted for the protection of other children. The uncritical fans and the apologists, not the critical observers, keep this tragic circus show going.

The whole thing is PhD disertation material. A study in dysfunction.

While I see some of your point, I don't get the Princess Di reference. She was married to next in line to be King of England and she was the force behind many charities including AIDS and landmines. She was on every A-list with every great designer wanting to dress her and every top level social event on earth. How is she comparable to Kate? How is that even in the same conversation?

I was responding to one line, that DMRick stated that she didn't know of ANY celeb that had this much attention, I was simply pointing out that there are others. This is how it is part of the conversation, it is crazy IMHO to say the no one gets more attention than Kate. And God knows, she isn't comparable to Kate, really she shouldn't even be mentioned in the same post.

Jon had no issues with his kids being filmed until he got caught cheating. When he blocked access to the house to TLC, his real issue was him not being able to get paid for doing TV interviews on other channels.
Really, no parent is better than the other in this case.

If the Collin story is true, to me it seems more likely that he was told over and over not to let the "P-peope" take his pic. The TLC crew has been part of their world since they were infants, it's normal to them just like it's normal for the younger Duggars or the Hayes' little kids (loved that family,BTW). Paparazzis are way scarier IMO.

Jon and Kate should have pulled the plug the minute paparazzis got involved.

Because as I'm pretty sure you know, in spite of the confused guy, I was referring to those who say over and over they want the attention Kate is getting to stop. I am referring to those who want the show to end.
If you want the attention to stop, then maybe you should think about posting on all these boards, asking people to stop giving her and the show attention. Most people know that any type of interest is good for TLC.

I'm not complaining that the kids are suffering and Kate is not a nice person. I'm not saying over and over that this has to be stopped. So I'll continue to post.

I just can't give Jon any credit. He was one of the biggest publicity mongers before and after the show. He just hasn't found a sellable hook for his own show yet. When he does, he will be right back in there.

There's a big difference between saying he isn't comfortable with filming and standing up and saying "STOP - this is hurting my kids". Which is something he never did until his own *** was on the line. I have zero respect for that man, and I use the "man" word loosely here.

Kate's a witch,no question about that. But if Jon hadn't been such a wimp, things may not have turned out that way.
