2 days of waiting....My January 2011 Birthday PTR!!!

Hey, it looks like we are going to be there the same week! We get there the 21st and it seems like our plans are almost the same except mine are one day ahead. Have a great trip!

Crystal Palace must be pretty good!! It was on my list of maybe's...I gave DS the choice between Crystal Palace, Garden Grill and CRT...and he chose CRT lol. We'd already had Tusker House and then just a few days ago added Hollywood & Vine.
I was there for my 26th bday and LOVED it.
I did an autograph book last time and thought it was neat. The only characters we met were the main ones and the ones in the princess tent. This time I am going out searching for more LOL and plus we have more character meals this time too, so I am going to do one for this trip too. I think I will get one for DS and one for myself. I think the idea of having them write Happy Birthday in different languages is awesome!!

I think it's cute that he picked CRT. I haven't done an autograph book since I was little. I just thought it would be a neat souvenir for my Birthday trip. And I kinda combined the autograph book and passport into one idea. LOL.

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who tenatively plans out their CS too and puts so much thought into their trip. Sometimes DH makes me feel like a freak.

I always wanted to try Earl of Sandwich and now I have to after looking at that sandwich.

Oh, trust me I feel like a freak every time I talk about Disney. No one else wants to here it anymore. At this point I'm trying to convince my mom that I should buy an AP. I wanna go back for Halloween, Christmas and my Birthday again next year. And if I bought the AP, I could just go a week earlier next year. That would be four trips for one price. LOL. At least that's what I'm telling my mom.

You MUST try Earl of Sandwich. It is my favorite CS place to eat. I have a special budget for just EoS. LOL.

I never even had heard of EOS until reading about it here on the DIS. Last trip we took I was set on eating at Planet Hollywood, so I didn't pay attention to any other food places while we were there. Now I have already said that the first day we get there we are eating at EOS! I just can't decide what I will eat!!!!!

I have already told my mom, that the first thing we are doing after checking in, is going to DTD and getting a sandwich from Earl's. I can't wait. I already know what I'm getting the first time I eat there. Yes I plan on eating there many times that week. LOL. That first day I will be getting the Hawaiian BBQ. It has chicken breast, ham, cheddar cheese and Hawaiian BBQ sauce. It also comes with pineapple, but I don't get them on mine. I will be trying a few others on this trip also. Can you tell I love to eat? LOL.

So today is my Birthday. But instead of getting to enjoy it, I have to go to work. It is also 4 days until we leave and I need to finish packing. I need to make my LGMH. Also my autograph book. I need to find a notebook to take to journal in, and a hot pink pen for the autograph book. I still need another pair of jeans, and possibly some undershirts. I have to buy lotion and hand sanitizer to take with me.

I think that is about it for now. LOL. I'm sure I will think of more before the day is over.

Only 4 more days.

I am still shopping for stuff for our trip. I finally found my bag a couple of weeks back. I found some tights to where with my jean skirt. Tonight I bought some water and Dr. Pepper for the ride there and back. Oh and some snacks.

I still need to find a hot pink pen for my autograph book. It's a hot pink and black autograph book. So I want pens to match. LOL. But I can't find one anywhere.

I need to pack still. Heck, I still need to figure out what I need to pack. LOL. I have never been so unprepared. I don't like it at all. I feel nervous and anxious because of not being ready.

I guess I should go attempt to pack. Only 2 more days to go.

Have you tried an office supply store like Office Depot or Staples? Ours had a bunch of funky pens in all sorts of colors. The one I liked the best had a daisy flower on top that swiveled a bit.

Also, if you just get some floral tape from a craft store (Joann's, Michael's, AC Moore) and then get a single hot pink fake plastic flower, you can wrap the stem around a pen/marker and your pen/marker will be instantly transformed into a beautiful, hot pink flower. It takes about 2 minutes max to do!

I was going to suggest looking for at pen at Claire's. They always have a bunch of stuff like that. But I like Marshey's idea better.

I haven't even started to pack yet either. And I have a ton of stuff to finish at work tomorrow before I can can leave. Instead of being excited about about going to Disney, I too was stressing over what I still needed to do. And then I remembered - IT'S DISNEY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! Worse case senerio - throw the essentials in a suitcase - walking shoes, Mickey ears, autograph book, pins, lanyard, DON'T FORGET YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS - tickets, ID, ME tickets, - then toss in some underwear, pants, capris, t-shirts, and A JACKET. You can wash out things in the sink if you don't have enough, and anything else you need can be borrowed or puchased. And remember - EVEN A BAD DAY AT DISNEY IS A GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I think the big reason I am stressed is that we are leaving half the family home. My mom is nervous, sad, and sorry that she is leaving them. I have started wondering if they are mad at me for going without them. So that's just even more added stress. On top of that, I still haven't packed a thing. I need to charge the cameras, unload the memory cards, and pack all that away. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. LOL.

I am going to attempt to get some of this done tonight. Wish me luck. I have to get this done soon. We leave tomorrow night. I WILL get this done. LOL.

We will be leaving in about 2 hours. The bags are finally packed. Time to pack the car, and get on the road. I have made my autograph book and LGMHs. I just need to find someway to attach them to my bag. I have a Twitter account that I will be updating while in WDW. @jesemeca is my name.

I made it back home Saturday night around 10. And went straight to bed. LOL. I spent most of yesterday sleeping and unpacking. Unfortunately I have to go back to work today. I should be starting the trip report no later than this weekend.

And I already have the next trip in the works!
