2 Days at Epcot with kids?

My youngest 5 was last trip, and we spent two day at Epcot. He loved it! That said, if I had to pick between 2 days Epcot-0 days AK and 1 day Epcot-1 day AK, I'd do AK. My family was there from RD until close. Actually until after close as we got on the very last KS vehicle. We all loved that park.

Just thought of something else. If your kids are going to do the free KidCot spots and do the drawing on the mask, my daughter-in-law was a bit upset when that took priority over being able to see the rest of the pavilions at World Showcase. She said she wished to break that up over two days where they could do a country and just the mask, then a country and not the mask, etc. The second day would be the opposite so all would be happy with the outcome but no one would be overwhelmed with an only mask day or an only country and all that day.

I can't explain why I don't want to do Animal Kingdom, it just isn't making me interested. I loved epcot as a kid and I know my parents are definetly going to enjoy Epcot. I think my kids are going to be thrilled doing anything. They have fun everywhere. The second epcot day will be our last day there, so we will be able to see if we should change it or not. Thanks for the insight.

I agree it depends on your kids. Mine (6 and 8 when we first went) LOVED it, especially the older one. They loved the FW attractions, all the food (we went during F&W), the Kidcot stops, and all the entertainment. We enjoyed it so much that I have 4 trips to Epcot planned (though not full park days) on our upcoming trip, more than we have planned for MK.

As for AK--I loved that park too. I was really surprised, since I wasn't very excited about it. But I loved everything about it.

Epcot isn't the place that it once was in my opinion but of course you might not agree. I get bored quickly and while DS is now grown and is a bit more appreciative of the place than I am so much of what he enjoyed when he was young has disappeared. It's a hard call.

I would recommend Animal Kingdom though. It's so beautiful and getting better and better.

My kids' favorite park since their first visit at 2 and 4 has always been Epcot, for all the reasons listed. They used to love making the masks and talking with people from other countries. Sometimes we'd buy candy from another country. They like Innoventions (who else misses building the robots? I still have a little tub of them - they became bath toys).
Epcot is so big; there is a lot to explore if you have the time!
