We are only going to 2 parks. Epcot and not sure yet what other one.
Is there anyway to save on 2 day tickets?
Can we buy 2 day tickets but only pick FP for one day until we decide where we want to go?
Can I buy a one day ticket and then upgrade it online to add the second day? Or would I need to buy a second ticket?

If you know you will need 2 days, may as well buy a 2 day ticket. You don't HAVE to make ANY FP+. Having the tickets will just give you the opportunity. Make them for 1 day, both days, neither day, totally up to you.

And I've never seen a deal on 2 day tickets from any ticket seller.

Disney does not offer their ticket resellers any discounts on 1-day and 2-day tickets, so you need to buy them from Disney.

You can absolutely buy and one-day ticket and then upgrade it to a two-day ticket, but that upgrade must be done in-person at WDW. It can be upgraded as late as close-of-business on the day that you use the original one-day ticket.

Minimal but a few bucks. Are you unsure about using the second day?

Yes. But we want to get our Epcot FP picked so I think I might buy 1 day ticket. And then when we know for sure but a second 1 day ticket.

I am just not sure we will use it this trip.

Is this possible online? Or will the purchased one day ticket cause a glitch on buying another ticket?

Im pretty sure that disney will let you buy as many one day tickets as you want, given it is the most expensive way to buy. But if you're not sure you'll need a second day, it's also the only way that makes sense.

Have a great trip.

I would do the math on the tickets. We are going to EP for two days at the end of August - two days that are "value" days on the calendar. I needed tickets just for my DS. It turns out, it was cheaper to buy two, 1-day tickets for EP than 1, 2-day ticket. So I bought 2, 1-day tickets and linked them to DS in my MDE account. I had no issue making FP+ for those two days. If you are unsure if you will go that second day, I would buy a one-day ticket and then see if it would be cheaper to simply buy another 1-day ticket or upgrade the 1-day to a 2-day.
