2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

That sounds fine by us Ian :thumbsup2

.......I think you may have just got yourself the job of official "Love Boat Dis-boardees Events Co-ordinator" (lol)..:lmao:

PS....how are you at arranging cruise ship stag/hen nights :dance3: ?????

I'm sure we can organise something, am I right in thinking the wedding is on the tuesday at Grand Cayman?

Ian

Hi,

Me and my husband and three children two girls ages 12, and 10 and my son almost 8. I made them all be pirates for Halloween in anticipation of the pirate party . Needless to say were looking forward to getting out of the Minnesota cold !!!.

Hi there, Grumpy! :wave2:

I think I need to get another stateroom. I have no idea how I'm ever going to sleep in the cabin with my husband (he snores really, really loudly) without having the top of my head blow off. My dd has the cabin next to next us. She said she's calling security on him if she hears him. :lmao:

I wonder how comfortable those deck chairs are up on deck seven. :scratchin

Can't you put him outside on the veranda Teva ????

Hope we're not going to hear him too :scared1: ..we're directly across on the opposite side of the ship, from you I think ?

Judy

PS Feeling any better  ?

I think you'll be safe, Judy. Can't say the same thing for people across the hall though. :sad2:

Yes, I am feeling better. Still have a bit of a cough but that's it. Thanks for asking.

Hi

How's the new job going, well I hope.

Ian

Hi Ian!

I made it through my first week at my new job...I am so excited about my new position, I am working as a perinatal technician at a local hospital. That title is just fancy for "I help deliver babies via c-section".

Hope all is well with you!!

Thea

Hello everyone!! We will be joining you all on this cruise! I have to ask, does anyone have kids 5 and under?
Kristine

Hi Kristine! Welcome to the group!!

I am guessing by your screen name, your kids are all girls? My son David will be sailing with us, he will be 19 months at the time of sailing.

Thea

Yep, they are all girls, 5, 2 and 1. And yes, I'm busy!!

This is my 9th cruise, one with NCL in 1992 or thereabouts, RCCL in 1998 and Millennium New Years cruise in 2000, Disney in 2001, Princess to Alaska in 2002, and Disney in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you!! I didn't know until about two days ago that boards like this one existed and now I am hooked!

Hi GrumpyGump! We have two girls - ages 10 and 7. Are you going to register your girls in the Oceaneers Lab?
We did the same thing for Halloween! :rotfl: We are looking forward to getting out of the Washington cold as well ... 25 degrees here and snowing today! We just got back from WN this past weekend and it IS cold back there!!

Hi mommy of 3.....glad you found us!! This board is simply the best...enjoy you'll get a lot of info from it. This will be our 5th Disney cruise and our son's first he'll have just turned 4 when we cruise. He's so excited about the kids club! Hope we get to meet your girls, he just loves meeting new kids especially girls!! :)

Laurie,
When are you all flying down? Are you going out of Logan?
How about this warm weather? I can actually see parts of my lawn!

Thea

Laurie, it would be nice to meet your little guy! We have lots of little boy friends in our neighborhood...so much so that my girls are totally into Thomas and we have tons of train things all over the house!

Thea, I'm jealous that you can see parts of your lawn! We live in Canada, it is SOOOO cold and have mounds of snow still. The snow didn't melt last year until May, we had snow on the ground for 7 months!! So depressing. Exactly why we are escaping and taking a cruise during this time! (we are American up in Canada for a job thing).

Talk to you all later!

Kristine

Andrew, my 4yr old grandson, is so excited about this cruise. It's all he talks about. He already has a bag packed with all his favorite trucks. It weighs about 50 pounds so I'm thinking he's going to have rethink the truck bag.

Hi Thea: We are flying down on Wednesday, Feb 6 staying at Beach Club for 2 nights then Friday we'll be staying at Radisson at Port Canaveral so we'll be near the ship. We are flying out of Green in Providence/Warwick so much easier for us than Logan. As for this weather....it's been unbelievable!! We'll take it. :) We live close to the coast so all of our snow has been gone for about 2 weeks now. When are you flying?

Hi Kristine: that's so cute that your girls are into Thomas....my son is so into Thomas that his collection of trains and track have taken over his bedroom! Santa bought him the big 160 piece collection to add to his 50 piece collection he all ready had!! :)

Looking forward to meeting all of you!! Let's hope we have smooth sailing and very HOT weather!! When we were at WDW December 7 - 15 the weather was 83 everyday.....

Only 32 days left and we'll be cruisin'!! WOO HOO
Laurie

Laurie--I had a baby a few months ago...instead of giving me a baby gift, my best friend gave the girls this HUGE Thomas set, with tracks, roads, lots of girl engines, the works. She figured that a gift to keep them busy was better than anything she could give the baby!! Since then we saw her and her boys again (she lives in Texas, we live in Canada but meet in Colorado every fall) she got us hooked on the "Take-Along Thomas" so now we have tons of those that hook together with magnets! My parents bought the girls the Thomas cases for Christmas so now we have places to store all of those little trains! And who says trains are only for boys anyway? I loved trains growing up, I think they are great toys.

Ok, off to do dishes, talk to you later :)
