2/11/13 Wonder Sweetheart Cruise

I have my fingers crossed for you guys! The same storm dropped about 3 inches on us and I struggled with ice covered parking lots all day. That 3 inches was more than anticipated, but we have had almost no snow this winter.
Saying a prayer that all of you get to the boat on time!

If you aren't wearing lime green, look for those of us that are!

I am so glad work is done. Now to finish packing. I fly out of Chicago late afternoon tomorrow to Orlando. Always look forward to seeing my sweet Bean and her Michael.

We escaped it! Started driving south from NJ about 3:45pm. Rain, little heavy in MD, but once we hit VA,it cleared. We stopped for the night about 30 miles from the border to NC.

Hope those dying over the weekend from the north east can make it safe and sound...

Oh my gosh, I hope everyone travels safely with all of those winter storms! I can't tell you how many people I've talked to who are stuck in Orlando because their flights up north were cancelled! At least they were stuck here in the warm weather! DM flies in tomorrow! I left work early today so I could assemble all of our FE gifts... HOLY COW, it took ALL day!!! Glad I got that done before the mom-bird flies in! It's going to be chaos until dinnertime at Palo on Monday! Super excited!

We're keeping our fingers crossed for all of you in the NE that we see you on board @ 3 Monday. I've also managed to cross my toes that we don't have too many delays in Mpls due to the East Coast backlog of travelers trying to get to their original destinations Monday after all this weather.

The packing and unpacking to repack has begun. (Well, it actually started 2 nights ago, but I didn't want to admit it!) DS is all packed, DH is mostly packed, and I, well let's say I'm getting there!

Leaving the house early this afternoon after the house sitter gets here. I am a bit concerned about flight delays due to the east coast, too. Got some more packing and sorting to do.

Almost done packing! Now if my husband can figure out how to not squish all the fish extender gifts-lol. Still debating princess attire and shoes for DD(4). Are you guys bringing princess gowns for your girls? For dinner, or is there a princess party/tea somewhere? Leaving out of *** on 6am flight in the morning. Hoping we don't sleep through the alarm at 3:45am! (That's if I can sleep at all!)

Made it to KC to stay with family. Flight at 10am tomorrow. We are officially on vacation and on our way to paradise!! See you all on Monday

Nah, I wore my princess gown last cruise.... MY WEDDING CRUISE!!! This cruise is going to be SO much more relaxed than our last one!

Late dinner in Miami after spending the afternoon in key west.

We did great timing in Saturday so we pushed from Richmond all the way to cocoa. This morning we headed south and went straight to Key West.

Hope everyone else is getting here safe and sound.

Our PAT is 11. Ship seems full but will ask for an upgrade unless I got one and don't know. Don't want to check

Found it... 3pm at promenade lounge, wherever that is... It's our first cruise on a classic ship...

Guess I posted too soon...mechanical issues forced us back to the gate & we've now de-planed. Hoping to get out of here within the hour but may now miss the meet & greet. (Hopefully, it's just the meet & greet & not the boat.)

Fingers crossed! If we do miss the m&g but make it on board, stop by & see us at 2558.
