WOW!! we have a good group cruisin Feb 1st.!! Can't wait to meet everyone!! Our group consists of me-DW35-Laurie/DH30-Rob/Mom-in-law52-Evelyn/Dad-in-law55Ed/Cousin40-Jack/Aunt60-Gloria. The other 4 people are friend of my in-laws and this will be their first time cruising Disney. As for the 6 of us...this will be our 4th Disney Magic Cruise!! Only 191 Days!! WooHooo!! Thanks for posting the list for 2/1 sailing!!

Laurie, it's my pleasure!

A little birdie messaged me and suggested a planned DIS meet. I think this would be a GREAT idea, so here are my questions:

1. What time would be good for everyone? (Taking into consideration the ressie scramble, fire drill, sailaway party and signing up for kids clubs).

2. Where would you feel the most comfortable meeting? (someplace DISers of all ages can participate)

3. Are there any volunteers to coordinate our meeting?

If I've missed anything, please post here. I will be checking this thread faithfully! Hope to hear from you all soon!!

I'm here! I'm here!!! Just been a crazy time... but I'm still here!

I'm always up for a DIS meet! Last time, some of us met up on deck 10 for the sailaway party and blew bubbles and drank a few drinks. I love deck 10 for the deck parties -- I'd much rather look down on the fun instead of being in that crush.

Other places might be a late afternoon BYOB get-together on the secret deck at 7-aft on a sea day, when the kids are in the clubs...

Or a family-type get-together at someplace like the family dance party at Studio Sea...

Um, that's all I can think of right now. I know we tried to plan a bigger meet for our last cruise, but it was near-impossible. We ended having several small (and many impromptu, which turned out to be the most fun) little meets all over the place.

Okay, going to go post to the "regular" thread now...

I like that idea! I'm not a "crowd" person, so that would make me feel more comfortable.

How would everyone feel about an email mailing list for a DIS meet?

Wow, Deck 7 seems perfect. DD17 can come along, who will be watching DS8. They can go roaming with fellow DISer kids if they show up. Wow, what a great idea. We're in.
