***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Got mine at target. They sell different tints. I have the one for "redness". You only put a "BB" size on, it's dry and truly amazing.

***** Another Question *****
For those wearing makeup, what do you wear in Disney?

I have dry/oily skin. I still break out in my t-zone so I have to be careful with how much I put on my face. Right now at home I wear moisturizer, BB cream, water proof mascara, and some lip gloss. Every now and then I'll add eye shadow. In Disney, I usually just wear the BB cream, as it has SPF 30 in it. But, when I look at my pictures I just so bad! I'm definitely wearing the mascara every day.

I have combination skin too. At the parks during the day I'll just use sunscreen and mascara (mascara is my 'if I only put on one item of makeup' piece), maybe a little eye shadow. Going out in the evenings I'll maybe put some bb cream or light foundation on, and a little bronzer. I tend to use chapstick cause I get tired of constantly reapplying lipsticks and glosses, lol

I'm a BIG makeup girl. Like, half of my office is dedicated to my makeup/vanity. No joke...I love wearing it and trying new looks and I own so many products it's ridiculous.
However, I have HORRIBLE skin. I have rosacea, complete with awful dryness and bumps and it's just gross. My favorite face product ever is the iT cosmetics BB cream. It's more pricey than say Maybelline, but it is SO much better for your skin. Plus, the coverage for a BB cream is amazing. I can usually throw that on (I still use a primer), and some ELF setting powder and be good to go! I get mine from Ulta...and it does last a long time. Best part is it doesn't give me more breakouts!
However, we will be in Florida, where heat and humidity causes makeup to drip and slide and be gross. So, when I'm in Disney, my go to is usually Bare Minerals mineral powder foundation. I make sure to use a really good moisturizer and primer though...because of my dry skin you wouldn't catch me wearing Bare Minerals normally, especially in the winter here, but it's really the only thing that lasts all day at Disney.

If you hate powder or mineral foundation though, and want more coverage than a BB cream, my go-to foundation is Makeup For Ever, which is sold at Sephora. It's not cheap, but it lasts a long time and the coverage is the best out there. I've done makeup for some of my friend's weddings, and it is the absolute best foundation you can get, especially if you'll be taking lots of pictures because it doesn't cause the "white face" that some other face products can cause in pictures.

Hope that helps!

#OL10LB is going well for me! I just finished day 3 of my low-carb induction. I have a birthday party next Saturday night though. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to attempt to get out of it or just go and try to find things I can eat. Ordinarily I'd say it's just one night, but this time I REALLY don't want to eat cake or whatever they're having for dinner. It's family though, so getting out of it could be difficult. I might see about bringing something along I can eat, but I don't want to make a big deal about it so we'll see.

Anyway, how are the rest of you doing?

We're doing the sleigh ride that night too! :D

Eeeee exciting! :) what time? We can only do 10 to fit in with our plans but that was the only time they had left so it couldn't have fitted any better with our plans!

I am the same with dry/oily skin. On the run up to my holidays, I make extra sure I'm moisturising and then on my actual holiday I use a very high factor sunscreen (because this UK face ain't never ready for the Floridian sun!) then a BB cream and set with powder. It stays put even after a long day rushing around the parks but it did take my ages to find what was right for my skin and what worked. I'm always tempted to try new products but it's not worth the hassle most of the time for me!

I also use powder blusher, mascara and then top up my lipgloss/stick throughout the day! I just like a natural look in the parks, not too try hard if that makes sense?

On make up, I don't wear any usually, just moisturizer. I wore make up this weekend and I broke out. Lol!

On #OL10LB, good luck you guys!! I will cheer for all of you :cheer2:

On everyone sick, hope you all are feeling better!!! banana dance for u guys!

I'm not a make up gal. When I go for my initial interview with potential clients I have a 5 min make up routine I learned from a make up artist at a lunch n learn. I use smashbox bb water.

I haven't bought many Disney clothes for this trip. We just bought some shoes for those who needed them, but that's about it. Oh, I had to get my youngest a few things because she grew over the summer so I purchased a 3-pack of Force Awakens t-shirts for her from Amazon and picked up some shorts off clearance racks to go with them. I think that's really it. Oh, and a couple Santa hats with Mickey ears we found at Big Lots the other night, but that's REALLY it!! lol
I went nuts at Hot Topic one day and but an alice shirt, a Cheshire cat shirt, a Cheshire cat dress, and an ariel shirt. Then I went to ardene and bought a stitch shirt, stich scarf (which I wear all the time now) and a star wars shirt. For dd she has an inside out shirt, a stitch shirt, a belle shirt, and a tsum tsum shirt. I'm letting dh pick his own when he gets there as that's his vacation thing.

That's funny. I have actually been thinking about cancelling the Illuminations party. I know there were good recommendations here on the board and it seems like a good value, but I'm back to thinking we should just snack around the world at out own pace.

DH and I are going to snack around the world on our date nite in lieu of a sit down dinner. We figure dd won't be as interested in ws so we can take our time enjoying it while she is at the kids club.

Well there is a zumba class tonight I'm debating trying and I'm walking. But this is going to be a busy week so we will see what gets done!

I think 8:40 is not ideal if you want to watch wishes.. seems too late for me. I would go with the 5:20 especially since you're having a light lunch at BOG anyway :) if you could find a 6/6:30pm one, it would be more ideal :D
Touring plans finder set! May just drop this and go to plaza instead or chh.

We're at 9pm. We're not at any parks that day, so we'll have some time to kill between that and dinner, but I think we'll just go scope out the decor at Wilderness Lodge before heading to Fort Wilderness.

I'm definitely a makeup girl, like the whole nine yards. I kinda have to be though because I'm so naturally pale that if I don't do something people will ask me all day if I'm sick. I'll be the one in the park bathroom with my concealer, powder, and tinted chapstick touching up mid-afternoon. :p

Happy Monday everyone! One month from today is my Epcot day! :woohoo:

#OL10LB is in full swing over here! Finally getting my running schedule back in order, with my long run yesterday, and have been consistently logging everything since the day we created the hashtag! Lol. Mondays are an exercise rest day for me, but tomorrow will be lunchtime run and after work free weights, woot.

My pre-trip shopping craziness was enabled by Etsy, lol. And a little bit of Amazon. 4 shirts, 1 necklace, 1 pair of earrings, and a new sling bag. Well, the bag was kind of a necessity. Everything else? Not so much :rotfl2:

Ooh, and I hope you're able to make it to the Zumba class, so fun!

What's everyone take in their park bags?

I need to do a trial run to see if the backpack we are planning to take will fit everything. If not, I will have to do more shopping!

Hmmm, that's a good question, and something I need to plan! I will have sunscreen, portable battery pack for my phone/camera, camera, poncho, some kind of layer for chilly weather, a few ziploc bags, rewetting eye drops for my contact lenses, chapstick, item or two of makeup for touching up, water bottle, a few bandaids and some advil, SDFP mb, sunglasses, tissues, small anti-bac gel. I think that's everything!

Let's see:

In my medium sized crossbody purse, I'll have:
cheat sheet note card with adrs and fps and possibly rough touring plan if I have made one for that day
pen (to add sdfp times to note card)
small umbrella
throwaway poncho
chapstick
touch-up makeup (concealer & powder)
small tube of sunscreen
smaller wallet than I normally carry (big enough for a couple of cards and some cash)
bandaids
neosporin
tylenol and/or ibuprofen
ponytail holders
bobby pins
cell phone
external battery charger for cell phone (still shopping around for this. I want one powerful enough to charge mine and roomie's phones an additional full charge and with 2 usb ports so we could charge at the same time, but also not crazy heavy/bulky. My ideal goal is to have something that while we're sitting down to eat or something, we can plug in and charge at the table.)
mini M&Ms tube for pressed pennies
small bottle of water
small snack (planning to carry probably a small bag of goldfish and a couple of goodness knows squares)
peppermints

We're also going to carry in a tote bag and put it in a locker until needed that will have:
layers depending on weather, like a lightweight pullover and/or jacket, scarf, and a pair of gloves.

I'll be checking the forecast daily, but generally we bring ponchos, a small first aid kit we put together ourselves (moleskin cut in a few sizes, blister bandaids, regular bandaids, ibuprofen, etc...), sunscreen, cash, credit card, ID, autograph books if we're meeting characters, and that's about it. We plan to be out early, so if it's particularly cool that day we'll have light jackets. In that case, we'll need a backpack instead of just our small sling bag.

ETA: And how could I forget the external battery for my phone?! LOL - that'll be in there, too.

I have everything you do on my list also, except the eye drops. I've also been eyeing up that sling bag you bought, but I don't need to be spending any more money if our current backpack works!

I like this idea. The hoodies/light sweaters take up a lot of space. We are doing a good bit of park hopping, so we have opportunity to go back to the room to pick these items up for the evening. But a locker for MK especially seems like a good idea.

I bought this one months ago and I love it!

Good list, thanks for sharing! I wasn't considering that I needed to pre-cut the moleskin for the first aid kit. Doh.
