***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Ugh, perfect combo for a hangover! Hopefully you're feeling back to normal tomorrow!

I am kind of freaking out about tomorrow morning. I feel so unprepared!! It would really help if I had some idea what I wanted to do on our last 2 days there. Right now I'm torn between MK and Epcot, but part of me says to try for FEA on both days. I left them open on purpose in case we're tired, but I feel like if I'm not touring I'm wasting time/money. Plus I got my hair done today that took twice as long as I expected, got a new iPhone I've spent the last 2 hours setting up...all makes for a feeling of unpreparedness which I hate!

i am too. I need to find my old post where i outlined what i want to do but really if i get fea and 7dmt i'm good tomorrow. i can't focus right now

@Wood Nymph and @Lisa F or anyone else I know so much about Disney, but nothing about APs. I am pretty sure both of you have them, so here goes. So I have the Kid size holiday package with 10 day PHs for both of us and MM. I was thinking about upgrading mine to AP for the discounts on food and merch and the free MM. How do I do this and do I cancel my MM now? Seriously clueless on this, but I think I could rack up on the shopping and dining discounts. Help please!

Help me decide which meals to pay out of pocket? We have a 6 night free dining package. Want to do:

Rainforest Cafe Lunch @Disney Springs
Tusker house lunch or dinner
Akershus breakfast
Sci-Fi theater 4pm, lunch?
Crystal palace lunch
Jungle canteen lunch
Ohana dinner
Chef mickey breakfast

I would pay OOP for Sci-Fi and Rainforest.

For those of you that will have your own car at DW, do u drive to all park and adr? Is there any park that is better to use bus instead of car? There are several days we will close the park or have late ADR at various resorts. Therefore we are considering of getting a rental car to save time whenever possible. Btw, we will be staying at CBR. TIA for your input.

We drive everywhere except MK--it's a pain there, so it's a good use of the bus.

Yay, I'll see you there!!! I have the same plan...get in line just before park opening for PFH DH isn't thrilled with that, but he's not the one making the plans I really only care about seeing Rapunzel though! I think @Iowamomof4 is going to EMM that day too??

I'm going on 12/4 too and my plan is to catch the princesses. With a 10-year old nephew, we won't be waiting to see many of them, but I thought we could go to PFH with a short wait before breakfast.

in case you see this before it opens YES MAKE FEA and you can always drop/change out of it to almost anything else, especially within the first 30 days. That is my advice!

omg my stupid computer updated overnight. glad I got up at 6:30, have spent at least 20 minutes getting it to work right. here we go in 3 more minutes. Was up at 3am wide awake thinking "Damn 4 more hours. if I don't get some sleep I'll be miserable tomorrow!" then I had a dream i overslept and it was 8:30. but here I am lol.

OMG everyone I got everything I wanted except for PFH which I already had the heads up from the board that the FP+ were not available. That was the final push that got me to do EMM at MK! The only small glitch in my plans is that because DH only has a 5 day ticket and DD and I have 6 day tickets (we did this because he gets a comp ticket for 1 day as a TA) is that on one day I could not make FP+ for him. So I used our 2nd MK day which is our "leftover" MK day to not put him on FP+. We will pick up his comp ticket at HS on 12/3 and then hopefully something will be left for us. But all the main attractions we have FP+ for in all the parks. I think I may still do some tweaking but that's a MAJOR stress gone (I was so worried after hearing some people say they couldn't get FEA - there was lots of selection for me). I even had another Disney nightmare last night (went to EMM and realized I wasn't wearing shoes, couldn't find ME to get back to resort, tried to take cab and realized I left all my US$ back home, then I was wearing skis and couldn't get them off my feet). Woke up a few times in the night too for good measure. The toughest part is OVER! Now just need to wait and see if the SW dessert party happens and make the call on that.

Now after I finalize some tweaks I'm going to be dropping ADR's like they're HOT. But first I need to get through my brutal day today...doing a night shift tonight so it's going to be a very long next 24 hours! Hope everyone else got what they wanted!!!

It went fine. TONS of 7DMT availability, I was able to get my exact times for pre-MVMCP FP+ - 4:30-5:30pm Peter Pan 5:30-6:30 for 7DMT... but I checked 3 MK days and there was tons of 7DMT

for 12/5 Epcot I was able to get 7:25-8:25 for FEA (I was looking for anywhere in the 7:15-7:30 range). There was less availability then, starting mostly later in the afternoon (around 3ish). my strategy to book later worked. But when I went to check out bookings on 12/7 there was all day availability from around 11AM on.... on the fly I decided to keep my original plans to not do Epcot EMH the night before and do RD for soarin/living with the land before garden grill because I think it will help me do everything I want to do at Epcot better (some of what i'd want to push into EMH is closed then anyway). Plus I was anxious about waiting til that day to book FP+ at MK for that night. So instead of the one Soarin' and waiting, I have my 3 booked that night.

for AK which is 12/3, my first day and overlap with people from the previous week, I am glad I rearranged in advance to do the safari later because nothing was available before 11ish or so. I WAS able to get a 9am "it's tough to be a bug".

Pro-tip that I noticed by accident.. if the FP+ system does not give you your ideal time, try to modify it and times that don't ORIGINALLY pop up will pop up for some reason. For tough to be a bug I need the FP+ right at 9am to make the 9:20am tusker house breakfast... it was giving me 9:10 at the earliest but when I went to modify it, 9am was a choice. I am doing EMH and will probably be at tough to be a bug even before 9am, this was just my hedge basically, so not a huge deal either way.

I will post my plans in their entirety later, I seemed to have figured out MK on the fly lol but I think I am good with it.

I noticed what @Lisa F said too, and I'm no pro! lol I noticed too that while the times are listed next to the attraction, if you actually click *ON* the attraction icon, *ALL* the times available will appear for that date. Others may pick up on that sooner than I did (I was on day 3 before I realized it), but I was happy to discover that option because it came in very handy a few times. Hopefully that makes sense.

It was really fun, super user friendly, and as many have already said, really does make it feel all the more REAL!!
