12/02
CRT

Party of 6

Let me know and we can coordinate. I'll give it a couple days before posting to the cancellation thread.:-)
Nice ADR!! Hmm... I definitely know @1437disney needs CRT, but not sure about this date...

Another successful FP'ing morning here! :yay: YIPPEE!!:cheer2:

I noticed what @Lisa F said too, and I'm no pro! lol :lmao:I noticed too that while the times are listed next to the attraction, if you actually click *ON* the attraction icon, *ALL* the times available will appear for that date. Others may pick up on that sooner than I did (I was on day 3 before I realized it), but I was happy to discover that option because it came in very handy a few times. Hopefully that makes sense. :-)

It was really fun, super user friendly, and as many have already said, really does make it feel all the more REAL!! :flower1:

pixiedust:*~*~WE'RE ALL GOING TO DISNEY!! *~*~pixiedust:

i did not notice that at all!

But what I did notice just now (trying to tweak times) is that you do get "better" times if you modify... it's like once it knows your other plans the thing is more willing to nest together your FP times efficiently...

Congrats to @Mintycake, @Talby, @Lisa F for a successful fastpass morning.

@Lisa F , you give me hope for getting my FEA later in the day on 12/7!!!

I haven't seen an update from @areno79, but I do hope she got what she was looking for!

I'll be rooting for you @rasadkowski, @LBlovesM&WDW, and @Candycane83 tomorrow! I still have to wait until Wednesday. It's killing me :-)

I think you should be fine honestly. Like I said, I booked for 12/5 and there was decent "later in the day" availability. for 2 days later (the 7th, which is when you are booking for) there was pretty much ALL day availability. I can no longer check because I have my 3FP+ booked in the MK for that day.

When I went in 2014 I was booking 7DMT at exactly 60 days from start of trip and the ONLY day I could find it was on the LAST day of my trip. There was FAR FAR FAR more availability for the big two. I wouldn't dawdle on it because it is definitely gone by 30 days but you should be fine at 60+!

That actually makes me feel better because I was feeling like the village idiot for not knowing that!o_O lol It was completely accidental--I was actually thinking I would get a description of a particular attraction by clicking on the attraction icon and POOF...there were ALL the times. Kinda handy! So hopefully that and the modify/better times deal will help others this week. :-)

And this might sound incredibly simple, but to all upcoming FP makers--I would highly recommend having your FP list right in front of you. I had my FP spreadsheet open too in another window (and my FP list on paper, my park day list, my ADR list, and coffee! :surfweb:haha) but it was much easier to be looking at the paper list in front of me rather than jumping back and forth between computer screens. Not an earth-shattering tip by any means, but it was much faster/more efficient for me to do it that way. :-)

These are great tips! Thanks :)

Kinda late to the party here...but, I've got another off topic question, then we can go back to everyone's celebrating!! :yay:
.....so, I have the two young girls, and we'll be at MK for 2.5 days....what has been your experience with touring the park....
Does it make more sense to stick with one or two lands per day? That's my plan right now, and I think it makes sense, but I just figured I'd ask

I know things can change, but just for kicks I checked FEA on 12/7 to see how things are looking. There are LOTS of times from 12:05 all the way through 9:00p on that day. I can check some other time too between now and Wed if you ever want reassurance! ;) (Just have 2 HS FP that day, so I can still check)

We kind of went all over every time we were there. That was partly due to the fact that we have people who loved the roller coasters and they're obviously spread to the ends of the earth! I honestly can't imagine spending a whole day in just Frontierland and Adventureland, even if you threw in Liberty Square there just wouldn't be enough for us to do. If you break it up some other way (like Tomorrowland/Adventureland, Frontierland/Fantasyland) then you're not solving the problem of criss-crossing the park. I'll be interested to see others' answers, but for us it just never makes sense to not kind of do the whole park each time we go.

My TA seems confident guest services will be able to fix our FEA fastpass situation. I'm skeptical.

Guest services? Does that mean what I think it means....that this wouldn't be sorted out until you actually get to Disney? If that is the case, I predict a good bit of pixie dust in your future! ;) pixiedust:

I am so bummed. We just had to tweak our trip and now we have to drop our 12/10 park day for 12/17 (yuck) Which means I have to drop our BOG dinner. I am so crushed, as we have not been able to find another day that week. TP alerted me twice of times, while I was on my phone, I checked immediately and they were not there. Boo.

Yep, that's the plan. I'm not too keen on spending my first park hour at guest services trying to get this sorted out. But at the same time, if I say something like, "When our fastpass window opened up I could only do fastpasses for the kids and it wasn't until 2 days later that I was finally able to make fastpasses for myself and dh." And they'll be able to see that he and I have Soarin' at the exact same time as the kids are at FEA and also that he and I have FEA after 8 pm on another day while the kids have it at 1:35 that same day, it'll bolster my case. So yeah, I think it's possible they could fix it. If we're running late though, we may just suck it up and deal with what we have. It's certainly not going to ruin our vacation. :-)

Happy FP day to many of you guys. I was ready to go this morning. Was able to get everything we wanted. Had no trouble with any availability. We did FEA for an evening time and I noticed plenty of times even late morning.
After weeks of dragging by, It definitely seems like the first week of December will be here in no time now! Good luck to everyone in the coming days!

We planned for 2 lands/day initially, and it worked well for us. Once we followed the TP and did everything we wanted to in those areas we ventured out further. Or if the 4th, 5th, etc FP were on the other side we headed that way. We ended up crisscrossing very little at MK that way.

This year I sorta planned it that way, but Space is my 7yo's favorite ride at MK so I have FP for both our days. And SDMT too, just in case. I think we will be walking way more this trip than last!
