***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I thought there were tips on the star wars thread about which side to put them on. Mine wants to fight vadar too, I need to figure that out too. I read about it but it did not stick.

Love that!! Did you take it or the PP people?

you can, there is plenty of room to just pop in and stand at the back. I like to sit in the front and I like to see the entire show :) the costumes are incredible too but you can pop in and listen during any show.
Yay! I wanted to pop in on our first day on the way to Biergarten :D

There was something on the Star Wars thread that mentioned this in particular. It's a long thread but it's somewhere there with pictures too. I think someone named bluelion was the one mentioned it.

I've been following but as with all things Disney - I won't be surprised if they change it up so as it gets closer I'll be stalking that info ;)

My kids are so sad they are too old for Jedi Training.... we were watching Disney visors over the weekend one was a training session. Their were two really tall girls my daughter daughter is only 5' and thinks she can pass for 12... i said yes except for your chest. :P She cam back with I'll just wait a big sweat shirt.

Rivers of Light is a show that Disney has been working on for a long time. We were in WDW in June and there was a lot of talk about the show being opened by the time we were there. Then they had lots of problems with the show and pulled it out of the line up. They replaced it with a hastily produced Jungle Book show. So we were one of those families who has been looking forward to this show since February. I would love for it to be ready for our October 1st arrival, but I'm not counting on it. But I really think that it will be up and running by December. It is supposed to be finished now.

Epcot - front end - there are a lot of things to do for the younger kids in Epcot. The Living Seas has Turtle Talk with Crush, which is really cute. They also have the Finding Nemo ride, also cute. And kids like to look at the fish.

Mission Space - if you go in the door of the shop and walk toward the exit of the ride, you will find a play area. They have video games and a big area were a group of people can play the video game as a team. They also have a play area for little ones to climb all over it, kind of like the play area in the waiting tent for the Dumbo ride at MK. Journey to Imagination is a cute ride and there is an interactive play area at the end of the ride which is fun. The dump area for Test Test has the showroom with cars that kids like to climb in and out of. Outside of Test Track is one of those cooling spray areas, although it might be off if the weather is cold. The Innovations buldings used to have a lot of great areas for young kids, but they have been pulling some of it out, so i'm not sure what is left. The Pixar movies, located where Captain EO used to be, is cute. They show three short cartoons which everyone will like.

Do they advertise which shorts? My kids love them, but we have seen many of the recent ones that came out with the newish release movies. If they are ones we haven't seen I definitely want to pop in!

Love all this information!! thanks again for sharing! I need to make notes

Did you buy ticket for MCMVP party yet??? We decided to go to party night on 12/1. But I am hesitated to buy tickets now since those EXPENSIVE tickets are non-refundable. What if it calls for bad weather or our tour plan changes? But the benefit of this will be I can make FP reservations for attractions from 4-7pm if I have the ticket.

I bought mine. Dec 1 too. I didn't even think about bad weather bc that's not allowed to happen, lol. We just worked our plans around it. If you know you want to go that night then I think it's safe to go for it.

Pretty sure that's Wishes that they stopped doing FP for. :-)

Hmm, that could be what I'm thinking of.

If I didn't listen to you and everyone here, I would be in a lot of trouble with my shoddy plans!!!
And I think @Candycane83 mentioned that the MK afternoon parade fp is now reserved viewing for Tony's ? In place of the msep? I was just going to ask if the parade fp was worth getting and then someone ( I think it was her) posted it

Yes, I do remember that one! It might be Wishes I'm thinking of like @Talby mentioned.

Look...look..look what I got!

TP finder worked! I got at text at 6:30!

My ADR search is over.....

Anyone want a BOG on 12/2 4:50pm for 4??

Yay!!!! Isn't that a GREAT feeling??? I told you not to give up hope! (Our BOG dinner ADR is on 12/5 as well!)

I've already purchased our tickets for 12/9. We've been to the park many times in the rain. Easy to do. A lot of people usually head out when it rains. Best time to be in the parks with the low crowds. If it's questionable, then I would wait until it gets closer when you can nail down your plans. And yes, you can enter the park as early as 4 pm to get in some of your FP reservations. We've been to the party in the past. The crowd levels usually start to drop after the first parade. As the night gets later, a lot of the little ones have left, and it's easy to get on the rides. Although, 7DMT is always a challenge. It would be best to book a FP between the 4 and 7 pm if you can.

Hooray @BDFmom !!! There were so many BOGs available yesterday! So happy you got it! We're eating there that night too, but a bit later. I think @areno79 is too unless her plans have changed.

I have not yet either; my party night is 12/8. Not sure why I'm dragging my feet. Although if I remember correctly, one of the other posters on this thread was able to call Disney and have her party ticket switched to another night. They will most likely do that in advance; if you're wanting to switch while you're there they may not allow it if it's too close to the party.

So 7DMT is really the only one I need FP for between 4-7pm? Will other popular attractions be a long wait without FP on party night? Looking at the party schedule, it looks like you can only choose rides or parade. Is there a tour plan that you can see most of shows and get rides in?

Your daughter can join mine and @JamieOak DH's who both think they can sneak into Jedi Training! :rotfl2:

I think that was @pigletgirl who switched her party date?? HOWEVER....We just switched as well; from 12/9 to 12/8. :santa:

I've already purchased my MVMCP tickets AND called and had the date changed. They were happy to oblige and it seemed like they do it pretty often. I don't know if there's a point where you are so close to the date of the party that they won't be as obliging, but I think as long as there is availability on the date you want they will switch it for you.

Now I'm going to MVMCP on 12/1. Glad to see others are going that day too!

Someone mentioned Jingle Cruise might be busy, but I don't think anywhere near as popular as 7DMT.

Ok, real newbie question here. With the party ticket do you get 3 fp for that 4-7 time? Or are you guys referring to people with a MK park ticket that same day?

If it's for the party, how do you do fp? Wait until the party to scan your mb? Or do you book on your fp day?
