Looks like there are a lot of happy DIS board members who have booked the *OCTOBER* Star Wars FW Dessert Party this morning!! Makes me hopeful for December!

So I found this map. Does anyone know for sure what the difference is between the green and orange reserved dessert party sections? Seems like orange is for Tomorrowland Terrace? How do we get into the green section? lol

So in October, by cutting SW Fireworks down to 4 nights they are also holding them opposite MNSSHP. I see some speculation that the same will hold true for December and MVMCP. If so, for that first week they would hold SW on 12/3, 12/5, and 12/7, which would mean 12/3 would still work for our get together. Cross your fingers and hope that's the case!

Also, any idea what time the party would potentially start? Trying to figure out if a 3:45 ADR at H&V is too close to the party.

I've watched Wishes before TT was the site of the dessert party. I think what it means is that if you're at the party, the left side is a better view than the right side. I don't know for sure though. The cool thing about being on that side is that you get a decent view of Tink (if they still do that.)
I still prefer watching from Main Street. There's something about the view of the castle and fireworks.

@Lisa F and I were speculating the earliest would be 5:15pm. I have a Biergarten lunch at 3pm so hoping that it would start at 5:30 or later. i think you may be a little tight but get to h&v earlier and try to get seated earlier. It will work out!

ETA: it looks like at the first half of October, the fireworks is either 15 mins before or after F! But at the second half of the month, looks like it's half an hour difference between f and the fireworks.

already crossed! right now they are having fireworks 15 min before F! (though not sure for October) so that would be 6:45 with party starting 75 minutes before or 5:30.thry start letting people in 15 no idea before that which is how @Candycane83 got to 5:15.this is a worst case scenario. for some time they were starting it 15 minutes after F!

3:45 at h&v would be fine because you're in the same park but I'd skip dessert with dinner. I too have a 3pm but it's in another park (yak & yeti... I won't be skipping dessert cream cheese won tons come to mama )

Lol we took him to our national fair from mid afternoon and he had a mini melt down by 8:30ish. so now trying to think where to insert more breaks!

I think the melt down was more because he wanted to run around but it was so crowded we couldn't let him... That and he was tired and a little bored too (too much waiting for others and standing around) this will affect how I plan FPs too!

More breaks are always a good thing. My friend just showed me pics of her toddler asleep pretty much the whole day in EPCOT. He happily slept in his stroller, so maybe your breaks might work out like that.

there are little kid play areas in all the parks. I'd plan on utilizing them

hi everyone! I wanted to post a poll question, but I think I have to start a new thread to do that, and I wanted to just ask here. I was curious, in your hunt to book ADRs that were not available for you at the 180 mark. Were you most successful being able to get your desired adr by:

a) having success with touring plans reservation finder.

b) finding one through a fellow dis member or through the DECEMBER CANCELLED thread

c) repetitious in an almost competition-style clicking of the search button on the MDE desired adr page

d) pretty much a crap shoot and they're equally attainable by all of the above

For me it a for sure. I've tried randomly clicking c with no luck. I did put party of 4 in tp though with more luck than 3.

drat! Ok I'm looking for a 930 either 12/7 or 12/8. I have an 1120 on 12/7 but ideally id like to eat and then go to mk. Unless I Rd at 9 and then head back to ohana for lunch but that seems tight too?
