***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Thank you sooooo much. Would you mind checking Dec 5th? I might move my days around.....

LAST ONE I PROMISE!

I found a slot for 2 at 9:35 pm on Saturday, December 3. That was the ONLY dinner reservation I could find between Dec 2 and Dec 7! Crazy!!

Ok ladies, MK on Sunday 12/4, am I better off (crowd wise) doing this, or should I do MK on Monday and HS/Epcot Sunday?

Thank you for checking, I appreciate it! I hope by checking here and there I will see something come available.

I'm planning on MK on Sunday because it's a party day and might be less busy during the day. I am also
Planning a brunch there so it makes sense. We're going to stay only until after the festival of fantasy parade though, we'll head to DS for the evening :)

EDIT: if you plan to watch evening parade and wishes then I think Monday would work better for you :)

We were only going to stay until 7pm and then head back to CR to watch wishes. I also chose it hoping that there would be lower crowds bc of the party that night..hoping that a weekend day won't be crowded though.

I'm sorry I may have missed it. Did someone say that Fantasmic packages are available?

We are only going for 3 days so we will be there on Saturday! I feel like in years past, Saturdays were busier than the other days of the week but not bad. If they were doing the Christmas parade taping that day, I would probably avoid it.

Ok next question to help me finalize my dining wish list--

What time is the marshmallows/fires at the resorts during the winter? Still 7pm, or earlier?

I just had a thought. Since Ohana is now an OOP meal for me... I'm actually just wondering if maaaaaaaybe I should do it as room service instead of making myself crazy for a reservation at the restaurant, maybe I will just do it as room service instead. It is about the same cost, $40 for me $20 for the kiddo... so maybe as part of our relaxing resort day before MVMCP we will just have a nice room service meal. only problem might be timing, I had wanted to do it right when Ohana opens but I wonder if I could order it in advance earlier in the day to be delivered as early as possible. This way we get Ohana without the noise and the chaos.

I mean I guess I still will try to get it but... we can eat in our room too. I might not even have to get the kid meal if the portions are as big as they say they are. It might be a way to self regulate a bit before going to the parks too (i mean not eating quite so much, lol)

@Lisa F .....Just an FYI...We stayed at the poly last year. Several people on Tikiman's fb page, and on the poly thread said that the Ohana food ordered via room service was plenty for 2. they would order 1 order per 2 adults.

Up at 5 central to do dining. Day one is planned for Candlelight, so still waiting on that. Day two is planned for Fantasmic! Mama Melrose, which doesn't appear to be loaded yet. Day three is Saturday at MK - we wanted to do PPO Crystal Palace, but I got 9:15. We are a party of 11, but there wasn't anything earlier for any smaller parties. Oh - except for 7:05 at Chef Mickey's. I would love to see the looks on my family's faces when I told them we would have to get 4 kids, ages 4, 3, almost 2, and 9 months up early on their last park day to make it from Caribbean Beach to Contemporary for breakfast. Especially when the 4 and almost 2 year old usually sleep until 9!

Maybe something earlier will pop-up. Maybe we won't use it and just get a quick meal before a long day at MK. It really depends on if we get Garden Grill for Candlelight or not. I'd like at least one character meal.

Well...just made my ADRs. Pretty much got everything I wanted except for that darn Ohana! I put Boma in it's place for now but will still be searching for Ohana although I'm sure Boma is lovely, I just need Ohana in my life.

Others that I got no problem were Le Cellier, California Grill, BOG, Liberty Tree Tavern & Mama Melrose. There are some time changes that I'd like to keep looking for as some of my dinners are a bit too early for my taste! Also, will have to try and somehow add F! Dining Pkg to Mama's....is this possible? Or will I have to cancel my current reservation and make a new one?

P.S. THINGS ARE SEEMING REALLY REAL RIGHT NOW AND I'M SO EXCITED!!!

My ADR day is Sunday and I am nervous. I would appreciate any good vibes, pixie dust, etc sent my way. Thanks!

when were you trying to make ohana for?

yeah, I was doing some research last night and it seemed that was the case. So I could probably order 1 adult meal and if kiddo is still hungry (if we went to the restaurant i would have asked for some mac and cheese as a booster since he will eat the meats but not the sides) we there are snacks at the MK. it's not like anyone goes hungry at WDW. also would have to pick up some ice cream beforehand since it doesn't come with it.

I would still prefer to go to the restaurant and have it there but if that's not possible we have a backup.

12/2 or 12/5 - Late Dinner

I hope some stuff frees up. This free dining thing is spilling over into our week even though the last day you can check in is the 28th, booo. I'm trying for super early dinner for 2 on 12/8 but can't book til tomorrow. like 3:45 right at opening would be perfect.
