All this talk of ADRs is making me nervous. My day for ADRs is tomorrow.

Can someone give me an idea of which order I should be attempting to get my ADRs?

Below would be my dates for each ADR...

Nov 30 - None
Dec 1 - Le Cellier
Dec 2 - Ohana
Dec 3 - California Grill
Dec 4 - None
Dec 5 - Mama Melrose
Dec 6 - BoG Lunch & Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner

I went on today to see just how open the 29th is for reservations.....and I tried all of my choices and was only able to view times for Cali Grill, which was odd to me because I assumed that would be the hardest one to get?

HELP!

I think in your list Ohana would be the most difficult to get and maybe BOG lunch. The rest might depend on the time?

I would try Ohana and BOG first. Also, heads up... Mama Melrose doesn't have Dinner reservations for December. I actually called about it and they couldn't tell me why, just that it wasn't available. If you're planning lunch there you should be good though.

If you tell me the number in your party, I'd be happy to check 'Ohana and BOG for you now, just so you know ahead of time what to expect.

How did you do in your ADRs? Did you get everything you want? :)

I got everything except for 50s Prime Time lunch, but they aren't offering it in December. I was going to switch it for Mama Melrose and the CM on the phone convinced me to do Minnie's Christmas Dine at H&V. We are also a party of 2 and I think that works in our favor.

Good luck on your ADRs and don't give up. People drop things all the time.

According to this: http://www.wdwinfo.com/walt-disney-world/a-sneak-peek-at-a-frozen-holiday-wish-at-magic-kingdom/
A Frozen Holiday Wish (Elsa lighting the castle) takes place *nightly* at 6:15 and 8:20. They have it early (6:15) so people who aren't attending the party can also see it.

Is it best then to suck it up? Legit question.
I have parkhoppers so my plan on wed the 7th is Epcot in the morning, go to Poly and get our room and luggage settled, 5pm dinner at narcoosses then MK for MSEP, fireworks and whatever rides we are up for after that since it is EMH, also to try to prime ourselves for the party the next night. But yes, I love MSEP and intend to suck it up. I'm wondering if a bunch of us are going maybe we can meet up and save spots for the parade together, it makes it so much easier to have more people holding spots... this way we can maybe take turns and get up and walk around with the kids and run them to the bathroom if need be and all that annoying jazz. I say that only because it is very hard for me as a single mom, lol. With two parents it is easier if the kiddos need to go to the bathroom. But you will have to stake out a spot well in advance and it can make for a very boring time for the kiddos... might be fun to have some new friends to talk to. Just a thought!

I just took at look at whats available for 4 ppl on your requested dates:

Ohana (showing no availability for party of 4) , Le Cellier (limited spots for 4 available), Mama Melrose ( no dinner reservations available for most of December so far, plenty of lunch spots), Cali Grill (6-8:55pm slots available), BOG lunch (lots of availability), Liberty Tree (lots available).

On non party nights the castle lighting is typically at 6:15 & 7:30. On party nights its 7:30 & 8:20.

I think the DisBoards team is confused! LOL I got my information of the various times from here:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/christmas_world.htm

You first said it was at 7:30 and 8:20 on party nights, which would put both lightings DURING the party. My point is that it should be nightly at 6:15, which both pages we linked (yours and mine) show to be true. I gather it will be at 6:15 nightly, and 7:30 on regular nights, 8:20 on party nights for the second lighting.

Oh, that's such a good idea! The only problem is I think you're going on a Wednesday night and I'm planning on a Saturday night. Love the idea of meeting up though. :)

you are right, typo on my part!

Awesome, Thank you! I have just two in my party and would like to do Ohana around firework time for 12/2 & BOG for lunch on 12/6

We're hitting MK on 2 MVCP days (which hopefully translates to lower crowds) but also staying on a non party day to watch parades and fireworks on a MK not recommended day,
We were there the first week of December in 2013 and the non party nights at MK are really crowded for parade and firework viewing. We had never seen it so crowded at night before. You can't really avoid it, either, since there are very few non party nights in that part of December. At least MK is less crowded in the daytime on party nights.

And just a FWIW - my 6 year old grandson loved the Sandcastle Club.

It seems as if some signature restaurants don't book up early.

Better start making a backup plan for 'Ohana as it has zero availability for Friday night, sorry to say.

EDIT: Which is not to say something won't come available, there's tons of time between now and December 2! :)

LAST ONE I PROMISE!
