***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Your plans look great! Love that you have a date night! :) All the Swan/ Dolphin restaurants seem to get good reviews but I have seem more reviews for bluezoo. It's something I am considering too if I do not get a Flying Fish ressie. :)
If you have a late dinner for H&V, you might not need lunch :)
Nice that you're flexible. I think all of us are interchanging Ohana and BOG to see what's available :) I have Akershus for Dec 5 breakfast too. Not looking for PPO but I think it'll still be difficult. I may just go with Garden Grill. :)

If we can't get a PPO for H&V we aren't going to do it. My Daughter isn't that into Disney Junior (she's 6 and told me it's for babies, though she does like Doc McStuffins), and if she really wants to see the characters we can go to the show. It's a strategic breakfast to get us signed up for Jedi training. LOL

BOG, meh...if we can get PPO then yes if not we will try to book a lunch or dinner (in that priority). It's not about the food there but eating inside the castle. We have 3 MK days so lots of options.

Our must do eats: Cape May breakfast and 50s Prime time diner (neither of which I think will be an issue), Ohana breakfast (I'd prefer 7:30am so it doesn't get backed up, but our next choice will be a "brunch" there and we'll take a break at the restaurant) and Akershus PPO (though we will take what we can get). Am really anxious about the A&E M&G which is the other MUST DO for us.

Right now I am on hold with DVC trying to switch my first night at AKL to BLT. A lake view studio just became available but I can't do the swap online, have to call. hope it is still available when I get someone on the phone, 15 minute wait. holiday wishes from the rooftop of BLT will be a nice way to kick off the vacation!

LOL, my DS2 loves Disney Junior but I prefer the Holiday Dine. Like you, we'd probably just get in line to meet the characters. :) How is Cape May Cafe for breakfast? I am looking at my list and could probably include this in.

GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!

wooohooooooo!
kid was "sad" (he is very sentimental but I didn't take this super seriously) that we couldn't spend a night at BLT on our trip since it's where we stayed last time. today is his birthday too, he turned 8. Happy birthday!
Happy birthday to him!!!! pixiedust::bday:

Moving to BLT looks good. You get more MK time and Wishes! :)

By the way, if anyone is interested in Skipper's Canteen, it looks like they are now accepting ADRs the regular way, 180+10. :)

I have heard that Cape May is a pretty relaxed character meal with good interaction and good food. And since we're staying at BC it's a bit of a no brainer to go for it. I'd love to try the dinner there as well but I know DD wouldn't be into it - that's an option too for our date night but not sure I'd want to have a buffet for date night (though I do love seafood!)

I like the Holiday Dine but DD won't eat anything on the menu. She's a picky vegetarian and she'll get to meet Minnie, Donald and Pluto at Cape May.

I wish! I'd love to eat here but again, DD and her pickiness...she might just have to suck it up....

Ok I need serious help...I think I have my revised schedule done. Keep in mind that we will have 7 nights of cruise food before our second WDW leg...so tell me if I'm nuts or not! Oh and to those who have stayed at the Contemporary (or BLT) please give me your input of if my time frame works!!!

we are not arriving until 5:10pm on friday and it's an xmas party night so we will have dinner and that's about it. The question is - what's for dinner now? we were going to do Boma but now I need to juggle my plans a bit to do boma breakfast on another day now that we are not doing boma dinner. Seems like anything on the monorail will likely be fully booked. Maybe Kona, but it seems silly to do Kona when we are staying at BLT instead of Poly later in the trip (and it doesn't float my boat). Maybe the wave which is good but not very disney. Maybe will have to add whispering canyon to the rotation! HELP!

If I could do a MK restaurant or even ohana that night (won't happen and probably too unpredictable with ADRs required) and get that out of the way it would be nice.

Can it be possible I am running out of restaurants???

It looks good. I've heard not so great things about Chef Mickey's but if you go for characters other than food it should be fine. Plus the Monorail goes through the restaurant!

1900 Park Fare Breakfast - looks so good mmmm I might want to do this one too! My daughter loves Alice in Wonderland, not so much the other characters though.

While your LO is on the pirate cruse, does the CP not have a pool where you can drink? what about a nice breakfast for yourself or a visit to the spa?

I hear awesome things about Whispering Canyon! How hard would it be to get there from where you will be staying?

So, has anyone ever had their kid do the wonderland tea party at the GF? I'm thinking that might be a fun thing to do for DD but maybe too tight for time. On our "late" MK day we're likely doing pirate cruise first (which I think is a better value as it keeps kids occupied for 2 hours vs 1 with the tea party for roughly the same cost).

We will just have had breakfast-and by this point in the vacay I'm not sure I will even fit in my clothes.lol I initially thought about a massage or something, but I have spa time planned on the cruise for one day, and don't want to spend the money on another. Yeah, I guess I could go back to the Contemporary, and have a fruity pool drink there...oops didn't even think about that. I haven't looked up anything about their pool since we won't be using it, but I'm sure they must have a bar there as well.

You can have an earlier dinner at chef mickey's - maybe leave the MK a bit early and if you go straight to dinner it is literally a 10 minute (even being kind of slow) walk from the gates of the MK to CR. Don't wait for the monorail. I'd give it 2 hrs if you can between ADR time and getting back to your room... assume worst case scenario half hour wait, hour to hour and 15 to eat, then back up to your room.

how about a spa thing at the GF spa during the pirate cruise?

Not sure what else you need input on, it looks good to me!

I would add WC for sure! I've never been, but it sounds fun, and the WL decorations and fireplaces look gorgeous.

Congrats on your change @Lisa F! and Happy Birthday to your sonpixiedust:

I think you have the 180+10 figured correctly. Good Luck!

tambu lounge is open 9am to 12am? dunno if they are serving booze yet but maybe mimosas and bloody mary type acceptable morning drinks.

i would love to see the WL and right now have no excuse to go over there. Plus my kid would go gaga over all you can drink milkshakes, not that i think this is a good thing to have in the first place lol.
