***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I have a dumb fast pass question. I noticed a few of you said you couldn't look at available fast passes once you'd made your selections. Does that mean if, for example, I pick my 3 fast passes for MK one day and want to swap rides around on that same day within the MK, i can't see what else is there unless I drop something first?

I think you could 'modify' your existing one to see what's available.

Hmm, but for example, if I wanted to potentially change a ride (like to get Rapunzel M&G), I would have to drop one ride first before seeing times for Rapunzel?

I got everything I wanted this morning!! :cool1:
I was up until 12:30 last night firming up plans, printing my sheet out, and getting everything ready.
Woke up at 6:30, showered, and was ready to go at 6:59.
Oddly enough the only ride I didn't get close to the time I wanted was Spaceship Earth; I wanted a 10:00 and all I could get was an 11:35. Also Star Tours is much later than I wanted. That's no biggie though since I kind of threw both in there last night as a filler.

Here'a what I've got, with Dining:

I was really on the fence about 12/9 and 12/10...I booked FEA for both of those days just in case, but still up in the air on what we want to do. I would like to fit in some resort hopping on those days to check out Christmas decorations, but we'll see how it shakes out.

All in all I'm pretty happy with what I got and now the trip feels so much more real!! :bounce:

Once you click "Modify" for any FP, it will take you to all available FPs in that park for that day (due to the limitations since you have 2 other FPs still in that park that day). It'll look just like the screen did after you selected the date and park in the regular FP selection screens. And I believe it keeps your current FP at the top of the page for you to reference. You get a chance to confirm your new FP before your old is cancelled.

I think @Candycane83 is right. I believe this morning I hit modify on my original BTMRR FP time, and it let me view other times without cancelling the original time.

Did you try modifying the FP after it was made? A lot of us realized that you tend to get much more time selections that differ from the original ones you saw that way. I was able to tweek most of my FP times to get a better fit that way.

With that one, no I didn't. I should try it and see what it comes up with.

Nice work @areno79 !!! Congrats :)

I'm not sure if you missed it this thread moves so fast but once you go to modify if you click on the ride pic(and there is a link right below it that says something about more times) it shows you ALL the times. or at least a lot of them. that was an @Talby pro tip!

I just joined the Facebook groups for November/December and was able to get an Ohana early dinner transferred to me for our last day. Now to decide if I want to move Trail's End from brunch to a breakfast or drop it altogether.

I feel like I still have so many decisions to make with the dining I'm missing and the places I want to eat, but didn't find a spot for them. I'm still unhappy with my 12/2 and 12/3 days too. It's the 2 evenings in HS for F! and then for SW fireworks that gets me. I'd rather be in Epcot one of those evenings. One of them might have to go. The ideal situation would be that we could see both the SW fireworks AND F! on 12/2 with the PM EMHs and possibly 2 showings of F!. But with the info and schedule we have now I can't plan for that.

well I'm not sure what you mean by evening in Epcot but with a 7pm F! you can certainly make it back to Epcot in time for Illuminations at 9:30 on the same night. Probably the same with SWaGS

LOL, I actually feel the exact same way. Can't be helped for us though, I can't afford to rush from one show to another with a toddler in tow... My compromise is to spend time at EPCOT until it's time for the SW fireworks on our first day.

it's not a rush to go from F! to Epcot. They tend to have the boats queued up to take people away efficiently when a show lets out but if not it is about a half hour walk. You have 2 hours between end of F! and beginning of Illuminations to get there. Now whether it is too much for a 2 year old is another question but it is not a rushed transition to make.

Even if they extend hours to 8pm at HS you could still get to epcot with time to find a good spot and park for a half hour or so and wait for the show.

I'm wondering if hours get moved to 8pm closing, will F! schedule be moved too? Didn't yulilin3 say that closing might be moved to 8pm?

well the FP+s are available and they are at 6:35. so not sure if that means they will adjust everyone's FP+ if it changes or if it is unlikely to change.

LOL, no, my current plan is to go back to the hotel early and move early the next day. If closing is at 8pm, I would guess that it would be a little tighter park hopping especially with the mass exodus after the show.

True. interesting... maybe they would keep the hours as is. Well, we'll see in the next few days, I know the next SWAGS schedule will be Nov 6 onwards which is a 7pm closing.

I'm almost having trouble explaining to myself what I don't like about these days, so I'm sure I'm not explaining it well. It seems there are a couple reasons. The main reason right now is dining, since I'm on that topic. I'm not as interested in the dining options at HS as I am at Epcot. I'm only considering Hollywood Brown Derby F! package and SciFi, but I haven't been able to get them both on one day at times that make any sense. That early SciFi lunch evades me still! I literally have 3 HBD F! ADRs (12:40, 1:55, and 4:15) and 1 SciFi @ 3:05. I think my goal is to keep the 4:15 HBD early dinner and get an early lunch at SciFi (11:00 or very near). Even then, they feel a little close together timewise, but we could eat a little lighter at lunch. I really just want an alcoholic oreo milkshake.

I'm not concerned with getting to see Illuminations. We have 2 other nights in Epcot where we can see Illuminations.

This is an option for 12/3 for us. That is my "Idk *** I'm doing day" where I made FPs in HS leading up to the SW fireworks because I'm not sure which park(s) we are doing in the morning/afternoon for sure. It's a toss up between AK/EP.
