Ok so this is a trip from March of 2001 but I just discovered this part of the board so I thought I would post a trip report.

My 16th B-day was about a week after this trip)
Dates - Mar 9th - Mar 16th
Friday March 9th
We were up at 3 in the morning! Our flight was at 7:15. We arrived at pearson airport (n Toronto) at around 5:30 or so. We cleared check-in, customs and security fairly quickly and were at the gate around 6:30. We were flying Air Transat (Ugh! I'm sorry I HATE Charters but as long as it gets me to Florida its all good!)
So we boarded the plane by like 6:45 and were off on time (for once!) This was Tania's first time flying since she was 6 years old so she was pretty freaked out. We arrived in Fort Myers (going to stay with my grandparents and drive up to Orlando in the middle of the trip) at 10:00am. We met my grandparents and went to their house. We unpacked and went shopping and swimming (gotta work those tans) Tania just loved my grandparents house. It's a little floridian bungalow in a gated community. We played Dominos, and talked for hours about what we were going to do at Disney and when we went to the beach. All in all it was a relaxing and easy first day.
