I will be at WDW AUg 16th for 11 nights with DD 15. I think I may suprise here with Universal this time since we have plenty days. I have questions since I haven't been. DD is all about thrill rides!

1. Aug 16 time frame, what day of the weeks is best to hit the 2 parks?

2. parking? I have a rental, what does it cost to park?

3. I plan on getting the $99, 7 day pass, so we can go as we wish. Now what about express passes? worth it?

4. We are night people, so to go 1st in the am will be a challenge for us. Is there any nights that are open late?

5. What rides are a must for a thrill rider? what should we skip?

Thanks!! I need a lot of help with this!! :goodvibes

1.) Any day during the week will help to cut down on the crowds.

2.) Parking is $12.00 per vehicle.

3.) The Express Plus passes that week are at the bottom two prices but 8/19 is the cheapest at $25.99 for the one day, two park ticket. I would wait until you arrive to purchase...see what the lines look like first.

4.) Unfortunately...IOA closes at 6pm every night that entire week. The Studios is open until 9pm on 8/16 but it closes at 7pm for the rest of the week.

5.) IOA: Hulk, Spiderman, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dr. Doom. At the Studios: RoTM, MIB and the new HR3 (Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit)...it should be open by then. You'll have to decide what to skip. If you don't like the water rides or kiddie rides, skip those but you might enjoy everything.

Thanks! Looks like we will have to morning people those days!

I have dining plan with Disney, so trying to work that too. I guess we can do Univ the days a Disney park is open late and hop over there after Univ. Hmmm. I think I better put the two schedules next to eachother and figure out which days work best. Def avoiding the weekends! :)

Now does it matter what pass I buy in order to get the express? Is that an add on type pass that can go with any pass?

You can buy whatever admission ticket you want. The express pass is a separate purchase.
