:bounce:Ok--Here we go...1st time I have ever gone to Orlando and I had my fill for the rest of my life...Sorry but I can't see how people go every year.
We used priceline and had Renisance 3* for 44.00 That was a good price rooms were very clean but small. We stayed at the Travel lodge the 1st night by Oldtown that was GROSS The worst place I EVER stayed at.I paid for 2 nights we called after we were there an hour and asked if we could cancel our next night -Thought there would be a problem. The next day I got all of my money back even for the night we stayed.
So I called all over and remembered everyone from here said hamptons are nice well i called the one in my entertainment book on Palms ct.VERY NICE CLEAN Close to everything. We even got a hot meal in the morning. Then we went to our priceline hotel it was nice but 40.00 w/food or 44.00 no food and the rooms were the same well you pick.
We did Animal kingdom Sunday was great time to go we were one of the 1st ones in line.We did everything by 3-4 pm.We went to all the parks twice except that one and my least fav was Epcot too boring.
We also did Disney quest that was fun and I really think worth the money for the family time.
We went to Hard rock food was Great.I gained 3pounds.
Well I hope I can help with hotels..or ? I am so glad I foung this site it did help ALOT.
If I had to do it all over again I would go to universal sea world and Mk instead of just the WDW parks.
The wait wasn't bad for the rides but I would hate to see the lines in the high season if this was off.
***Oh I almost forgot I agree with alot of you you need a break or you feel like your dying AND*** I couldn't believe how mean some of the people are why do they go somewhere where there is sooo many people? They need to be on a island ALONE!!!
Oh another thing the stay away from all Days INNs,Knights andplease feel free to ask

Was that the Hampton in Lake Buena Vista? I am considering it for our last night after a 7 night time share stay. Was it relatively new? Sounds like you has a good experience there. I don't have the entertyainment book, but I was able to find a rate through HotelKingdom.com for 64.50. Does that sound resaonable??

was the Travel Lodge on W. Irlo Bronson in Kissimmee? I'm trying to get info on that location.

The Hampton wasn't the one in LB but that one was nice also farther away from WDW gate thought.Try roomsaver.com or valuetrips.com there was a coupon for 50.00 on it if you can't find it write me and I will send it to you it's in my favorits but the only way I know how to send it is my mail Sorry.

Also the travelodge was I believe that road it is right by Oldtown 192 was the highway.Don't stay there it us bad my kis 8 and 14 even said it was gross. It smelled sooo bad.If you want a cheaper hotel stay at the castle Inn it was right by there and is cheap and clean otherwise my hotel no matter where will be a Hampton If you don't like it you get your money back.Thats how clean they are and free food in the morning that saves $$$$ we have 4 in our family and it was 20.00 to eat at Mcdonalds.Anything else just ask.

Uh oh. That's the Travelodge across from Old Town that was so bad? I was afraid of that. We're booked into it for 1 night via Priceline. I added 1* into my seach criteria because I hadn't seen any come up in the WDW area, and up popped the Travelodge.

I may rebid for a 2* for that night and throw that reservation away.

Yes thats the one. What you could do is ask to see a room If the say oh theres a sample of one right there say no i want to see a room -we fell for that the lobby was nice too nice for this hotel.Maybe that way you can get a clean room. The entire halls stink I can even think of what it smells like there were like holes in the walls.Maybe you could get a better floor we were on 4.Don't take a sleepy bear room thats what we had.
If you didn't pay much for it like maybe 10.00 dollors what you could do is stay at the magic castle right next to it and get a free breakfest so you;ll feel better about wasting 10.00 If you didn't pay much do that .I am picky when it comes to hotels I check the sheets 1st and bath 2nd .I travel alot and this was gross.no bugs or mice but the smell and carpet.Sorry to give you the news.

:p Hi Lissak,
Did you stay at the Renaissance World Gate? We also got that one on priceline, a 3* for a total of $45 a nt. Did you think the rooms were small? I haven't heard anyone else say that. What did you think otherwise about them? Clean, Was the pool warm, was there a refrig.? Thanks! Pomcoach:pinkbounc

I paid $10 (plus $20 AMEX bonus) for 2 rooms, so we'd be out $25.95. I'm kinda picky about the hotels that I stay in too. I won't stay at the Days Inn across the street again because it was so terrible. I'm torn between saying "it's just one night" and making another reservation somewhere else. I guess I can do a last minute priceline if it's too gross. We get to Orlando around noon. I could make a cancelable reservation somewhere else if PL doesn't come through.

*sigh*

The renisance was nice and VERY CLEAN!the had fridge no micro but we froze 3 water bottles to take to park. The bath was small the bath tub was a garden tub never used it no time.We never ate there but we had drinks at the lounge not bad.It was worth the price but Hampton Inn won my heart it was cheaper than what we paid plus free food.and the rooms were same size but the plus was the hamton had a sink outside the bath was great when my son spends more time/w/his hair then i do:).Ponderosa was across the street great for the price and there are 10 0/0 off coupons all over for it.

Travelodge well we stayed there one night and we are still alive but I woluldn't stay at the hotel all day if you go somewhere and just come back at bed time i would do that.Like I said INSIST on seeing the room and if your not happy look at another room there. The smell is the worst the sheets wouldn't stay on the bed but we had our own from the kids sleeping so we put ours over theres.Don't worry about it or it will eat you up! what's done is done play it buy ear.:)

:p OK, You can all laugh at me, but what is a Garden Tub? Thanks for any explanations! Pomcoach
