We have tickets for the MVCMP on Nov. 27th. How crowded will it be since this is the last day of Thanksgiving weekend and the 1st party? We are planning to get to MK at 4:00 p.m.

We have booked for that party also, which is lucky as it is our last 'night', we return home the next afternoon. This was our only chance to attend the party, but I was also wondering if it very busy n that first or does it get busier in December closer to Christmas ?? :confused3

We'll be there that night too! It's my dd's birthday and it's going to be a surprise for her.

We're going that night, too. We are heading to WDW for Thanksgiving and that is the one party we can make before flying home Monday night.

We went to the first party after Tday last year, too. Honestly I was very disappointed because I thought it was VERY crowded - even compared to the MK on Thanksgiving evening. I had read how they "limit" ticket sales, etc. but I wouldn't want to be there on a sold out night!! I figure we will give it one more try as last year was our first MVMCP experience and we are going to do things a bit different this time. We are WDW vets, but that was our first Xmas party. We have been to one Halloween party in 2003 and that was a blast. Big difference in crowd size.

First of all, get there as early as you can before the party starts. They will let you in after 4 pm with your party ticket. Do not make a dining ressie during the party. Last year we ate at LTT at about 7:30. (I was thrilled to get this last minute & thought by that time we would be ready for a break. Wrong. We hadn't really done or seen anything) We waited in the lobby at LTT about 1/2 hour, had the SLOWEST & WORST waiter ever and dinner took almost 2 hours - mostly us sitting and waiting for him to show. What a bust. We did not get the family photo, didn't see any cookies/cocoa as the place was packed and the lines were mobs. I subscribed to TGM to get his "plan" on touring during the party. It is hard to plan otherwise as Disney does not release any timing info before that first party.

Good luck & happy planning!!

I've got TGM also. Still waiting for a plan of attack. We're there until dec 5th but thats the best night for us. I know itas going to be busy. I have 2 more days at MK planned, I just wanted my kids to enjoy the Holiday feeling.
