1st afternoon with UPH

First time ever we will arrive in WDW and have access to parks 1st afternoon with UPH. Need advice on afternoon tour of AK.

You can usually get a lot done in AK in the afternoon as many people are leaving. I'd start in the front of the park and move toward the back. So, Dinoland first, then maybe TTBAB and/or KRR (if you like water rides), and then finish with Kilamanjari Safaris. Once you get off KS, you'll have a nice leisurely walk to the front of the park. If you like Rainforest Cafe -- make ressies for around park closing.

The Lion King show is totally cool, but also long. You'll have to check the guidemap for times to see if you can work it in. If you have kids too little to ride Dinosaur, I'd do Lion King instead of Dinoland...

I usually do Epcot because they are open til late. This Jan, we had the kids so chose AK. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed so we ended up arriving at our hotel at 4. We did MGM instead. We got to see B&B, VOTLM, and Fantasmic. The brave ones did ToT too.

the kids have spoken and it HAS to be Chef Micket's the 1st night, which is why i figured AK would work, since it closes early and we'd have plenty of time to grab bus back to CR. If our plane is delayed, I'm afraid we'll have to skip a park that day (not doing MK because it's a Thursday and by the time we arrive, we presume MK will be PACKED).

The kids do love Dinoland, too little for Dinosaur! last time, but this time will be 10 and (almost) 8, so I was thinking about KRR, Dinosaur, Chester & Hester, Boneyard and maybe Tarzan Rocks. Could I fit all that into 1 afternoon (if we arrive 1:30 or 2)?
