180 days and Fantasmic packages?

So if park hours aren't released yet for our spring trip and we want a Fantasmic dinner package - will those be available to book? Will they have in their system those days that are Fantasmic with the package available - or will we not be able to book a Fantasmic package until the park hours are released closer in time and system is updated?

How did it happen before when it was 180 days?
thanks!

Even at 90 days the Fantasmic Packages have been slow in loading each month after hours and dates have been released. There have been many 'support/gripe' threads that have been on the boards as people waited for them to be loaded in the computer.

If the hours aren't released, unfortunately there is no real chance that the Fantasmic Packages will be in the computer. I know it's frustrating to play the Disney waiting game, and hopefully Disney brings their A game with October 27 coming up.

Unfortunately, I'm reluctant that the park hours will coincide with the Oct 27th 180 day release of the dining reservation. They did announce that it would be, but I'm not so confident. Hopefully, they are already in the process of entering it into the system.

In the past, when it was 180 days, I was always able to book the Fantasmic Package at the 180 day mark. I was even able to book it during the +10days of my trip. I usually use the previous years hours to plan my days, but to be honest, I tend to keep my schedules similar to previous years, so I 'm sure there were times I didn't even check the park hours until closer to the date. Furthermore, the hours do tend to change closer to the date, so it's not always exact. If they change, then I just change what I need to. I know, it just seems frustrating especially if you have specific restaurants in mind (like most of us do).

I wish everyone good luck and hopefully it's not as bad as we are anticipating.:)

You addressed the elephant in the room! :lmao: (unfortunately I do agree, I highly doubt months worth of park hours will be entered in the system in the next three days)

One thing to consider, why the Fantasmic is harder to book now than it was back when they had 180 day ADRs is the fact that there are so precious few Fantasmics now. When it was every day, I agree, they were in the system in a timely manner.

It seems that now Disney is picking and choosing F! Dates, it takes them forever to get the dates in the computer. It really only affects those with vacations early in the month, as they load all of the Fantasmic packages at one time.

Can the fantasmic dinner package be booked on-line or do you have to call to get it. We will be going in Feb and being that the park hours have not been released will I be able to book it?
The 27th is my day also and I am not looking foward to the phone wait!! But we have missed out on the dinner package the last 2 trips because I waited too long to book it and they had nothing available. I don't want to miss out this time.
