180 days - 6 a.m. and still could not get more than 4 of our ADR's

From everything I've read here I agree that the issue with the Epcot restaurants is CP.

If it makes you feel any better, I planned a very-last minute trip to WDW the first weekend of December last year. I was able to book a pre-park open ADR at Garden Grill three weeks before our trip. I suspect more options will be opening up in the future.

Sometimes, I wonder if free dinning has something to do with not getting ADR. We do not get free dining, but the first three days, very difficult to get reservations.

Free dining was a lot more available in September then November and still ADRs for September. It seems to only affecting 11/25-12/1. Before thanksgiving I still see things and after 12/1 seems normal.

I was checking availability for a few days before our arrival and couldn't find anything for our party of 9. I thought it was the size even though it is an option in the drop down. This is not good news.

My wife and I did our ADRs 6am Saturday morning for our 11/30-12/9 trip. We were able to get everything we wanted except for Biergarten but I think that's because they haven't released the dining packages for the candlelight processional.

I have posted a similar thread-I had trouble 180 days out at 6 am for the week of November 13th-the week before Thanksgiving at what is supposed to be a lower crowd time. Several responses have suggested reasons, dining packages being available during that week, some reservations being held back for show packages, etc. I just keep trying, and was able to get Crystal Palace (I know, I can't believe I had trouble here!) a few days later, and change my Chef Mickey's to a better time. I still blame it on the 180 days plus 10. I couldn't get Ohana or BOG but I keep checking.

I don't know how many you have in your party, but BOG has dinner available for 12/9 right now, I just checked like 10 mins ago. We just booked (however we are a party of 2) I would check if interested.

WDW no longer allows people to simply drop days off of reservations, so I'm not sure where you've heard those rumors. Perhaps in the past this was true, but WDW put an end to that practice about 2 years ago.

This past November I had to adjust my dates around the 70th day (before trip) mark because of vacation dates conflicts at work and I had to move my trip two days later than the original reservation. Instead of the headache of moving things around, I just left it alone and added two more days at the end to compensate for having to arrive later. Not only did I just give up on the 'hard to grab' ADRs that started my previous dates , but also just tacked on whatever ADR scraps were left for the two days at the end I was now staying. I was able to keep all my adrs on the days that were not affected, I wasn't charged a dime. I think if somebody wanted to be a squirrel they could, but hopefully people won't go through that much trouble.

Akershus is also being affected by CP.

I could not get Biergarten at 180+10. I had to get sci-fi at 2:55. 50s prime time at 1:50. Yak and yeti at 4:45. Crystal palace wasn't gettable for dinner except 8:50 had to do lunch. The only reason I got ANY at good times is because other than these we are eating at resorts or Disney springs. Also couldn't get a Narcoosses for all of 12/3.

Something isn't right even taking CP into consideration. I don't know what it is. TAs booking extras, a new sniper company out there that Disney hasn't shut down or some random reason that this is now the busiest week of 2017.

Don't get it.

This makes me so nervous. We're going 12/6-12/12 because it's supposed to be a low crowds week. All these ADR's not being available makes me feel like it's going to busier than they say it will be. I start trying for ADR's on Friday. I'm keeping my expectations low :(

I got a BOG dinner reservation for Dec. 6th at 9:30 (approx) yesterday later in the day.

If you need a better time for Yak & Yeti, call them directly. (407) 939-3463 They only give Disney a handful of their ADR's, If you call they will have lots of times available.

Also, for Narcossee's, there's lots of Brunch times available now, if they weren't before.

I woke up at 8 and started getting some ADRs for my 12/3-12/9 trip. So far got most things, can't get Coral Reef anytime on the 4th and now the disney site isn't showing any of my reservations or plans (dining AND package) AHHHH

Recommend calling as well, for some reason it said no reservations for me on the website when I was trying to get into Victoria and Alberts but when I called there was an open table in the Queen Victoria room. Good luck

I'm talking to an agent right now who says split stays shouldn't effect 180+10.... I am guessing that is in theory because I've read several places people have had to wait.

on hold for 10 mins, worked with CM Lorraine, got Coral reef for lunch and early early Garden Grill breakfast with her help! When she asked if there were any celebrations, I explained Coral Reef lunch is for my moms birthday, and told her my moms name was Lorraine as well! :)

Keep checking back...literally every day....if it's important to you. When we did our last trip 180... 6AM, there were a few we could not get our wanted time for. We kept checking back and ended up getting everything at exactly the time we wanted, even California Grill during Happily Ever After. An 8:00 Garden Grill even came up near our trip time. Good Luck. We have been the week you are going and I remember places being hard to get.
