180 days - 6 a.m. and still could not get more than 4 of our ADR's

Our 180+ opens up Monday and am already dreading the stress! We are staying 7 nights and MVMCP is happening 4 nights. UGGHHH! We are shooting for BOG, LC, and O'hana plus others that should be ok. What time does the "switch" flip to make for next day's ADR? This takes me back to the good old days of speed dialing Disney Dining to get through to sit on hold for an hour or longer to get a live person and hope their system was up! Good Luck to all!!

I suspect you will be fine. The people having trouble seems to be at 180 days - not 180+. I am currently booking our dining for a trip that runs the last three weeks of December. I have gotten everything I want. This morning I scheduled for Christmas Day. Breakfast at CRT, lunch at BOG and dinner at California Grill. I looked around - everything was still available - BOG dinner, Ohana dinner, Akershus, and every other place I looked. I also looked back a bit - through around the Dec 20th there are still plenty of options. Before then it becomes a bit more complicated.

Just booked mine this morning. My trip is Dec 15th-20th and mostly got what I wanted for mostly the times I wanted. I find it hard to believe there's no BOG breakfast available Sat the 16th. I'd believe it if all the PPO times were gone but not after that. It was a luxury pick for us anyway since it's almost a shoe-in the park will open an hour early anyway and I would have just dropped it once announced anyway.

Previous poster is right about slim pickings for that weekend but got better after that. We have a large party (8 people total) so our Friday dinner we had to split into 4 at Whispering Canyon unless we wanted to eat at 850p.

We booked:
-Cali Grill Brunch on Sunday (wanted 1045ish, 1215 was best option)
-Ohana Breakfast Monday (lots of time slots)
- Sanaa Dinner Monday
-H&V PPO Breakfast (meh) Tues
-Tusker House Dinner Tues (hoping to switch to ROL package when released)

I was worried but overall better than what I was expecting after reading some threads in this forum

You're seeing availability for Akershus? I thought they haven't released the dates because of candlelight processional?

We got ZERO! On the phone AND online at exact time they "open"...we still got nothing. We are a little heartbroken...

It is way too early to be stressed. We get what we want by stalking all the way up to the vacation. We actually make it a game where everyone stalks the site till something pops then the person who snags it is the hero. Disney planning is awesome!

I also thought that... I'm one that only had 180 days (we have a timeshare at Westgate). Can't get ANYTHING (yet. I'm stalking the cancellation thread for the next 5 months). But a lady at Disney told me they hadn't released a lot of reservations because of candlelight.

We are going nov. 23 to dec 2 and when I booked our ADR's there where Akershus times. Now, I don't know if they just released some times and held some back. But, I had a dinner booked there on November 30th that I ended up dropping.

Oh Ok! I'm going December 10-16 so I'm assuming they haven't released those dates yet. Because I can't find anything at all on those days. Thanks

I'm assuming maybe they have some dates squared away but others none. I'm hoping that's the case because ive never had trouble getting an Akershus ressie.

I just checked again - Akershus has multiple times available from Dec 19 - Dec 25. Nothing came up on Dec 18, and I didn't check anything prior to that.

Edited to add - there are some things there on Dec 17th. And decent times - lunch at 11:55 - things like that. Just keep looking and change your party size.

Im dreading doing ours, still have a few days but the only 2 days we will be in park is Dec 24 and 25. I don't have my hopes too high that I will get the stuff we want so I will be happily surprised if we do!
