We were just at Disney world last year but it was planned after my 180 day mark so I am not sure how this 180 + 10 thing works. Our check in date is November 26th we have free dining at Pop for one week so I think my 180 day mark is May 30th so what does the +10 mean?
Oh and one last question are dining reservations something you do at midnight like the FP+ or is it at 6am? I think I remember in past trips many years ago it was 6am.
Thanks.

The +10 is for people staying on property that get to book dining at the 180 window for the first 10 days of their trip. If you are not on property, you have to book 180 days only, so you book one day at a time.

ADR starts at 6 am online and 7 am on the phone.

If you have free dining at Pop, just know that is generally 2 Quick Service meals per day, not a Table Service. Unless you upgraded to the next level of dining plan. I wouldn't want you think the table service meal per day was covered without doing the upgrade.

It's not really "+10" It's "+ the length of your resort reservation up to ten days." But nobody wants to type that ever time.

How do split stays work with this? Does the 180 days apply to the entire trip beginning on the first day? Or does it apply to each "stay" independently?

I believe the way split stays work is its 180 days from your check in day from each resort...so if you are staying at pop for 4 days and then poly for 4 days after that you can book your ADRs for the Pop reservation at the 180 mark from you check in day at pop and then 4 days later you can book your ADRs for the poly when your 180 day mark opens up from that check in day. Disney doesn't see split stays as split stays (1 whole trip), they just see it as 2 separate reservations....so this would also apply to your FPs as well.

This. Split stays are separate stays for ADR booking purposes, so they function independently.

Nope. FP+ can see continuing reservations and allows booking throughout your stay.

Thats interesting I didn't think the system was that smart, lol...never did a split stay so not very familiar with it, just know the ADR stuff by heart, lol
