180 + 10...?

Tomorrow is 180 days out for me and I've planned which ADR's to make at 12noon (I'm in the UK).

I have a couple of questions because last time I did this was a few years ago.

1) I have a split stay booked. My first stay is 7 nights - will I still be able to make ADRs for days 8, 9 and 10, or will I have to wait until 180 days before arrival at my second resort?

2) Which restaurants out of these will be the hardest to book?

3) Can I book the Keys to the Kingdom tour for the 6th day of my resort stay tomorrow, or do I need to wait until 180 days before that actual day? Is there a way to do this other than over the phone?

1) No. A split stay is counted separate. At least online you will not be able to book. You might get a sympathetic CM on the phone, but no guarantee there either.

I just talked to a CM about my split stay. Learned something new today. Each stay counts separately. My 180 days started yesterday. NO BOG dinner, NO ROL dining package, I had to check numerous times to get a Garden Grill. Funny thing is, I did get a CRT with no problems. Sci-Fi no problem. Candlelight Processional dining package isn't available yet as far as I could see. Tusker House didn't pose much of a problem either. There are some BOG breakfast and lunch ADRs available most days if you don't particularly want to meet with the Beast and just want to eat in the castle. I guess it will also depend on the size of your party. There aren't very many 2 person tables in most places so I'm at a disadvantage there.

I was really disappointed about BOG dinner because it's my 65th birthday trip. It's kind of a tradition for me to have my picture taken with the Beast on my birthday. I'll keep trying though and hope for the best. And because of the split stay, I sincerely doubt I'll be able to get one my last 4 days either. I want to go to BOG for dinner at least one night during my trip. The same thing happened last year and I eventually got a BOG ADR for my birthday, but had to go to the MVMCP to get it.

I'm sure I did them at 11am not 12Pm.

Edit: it was definitely 11am. 5 hour time difference and reservations open at 6am Orlando time. That hour could make all the difference!

Oh goodness! Thank you so much for this - I thought they opened at 7am! You're right - that hour might make the difference but I'm slowly realising that my beautifully formed schedule will fly out the window tomorrow when I don't get the times I am looking for...

No problem also don't panic about the ROL dining package, they haven't been released yet for Nov/Dec. I just booked a regular Tusker House and hope to change it at a later date. Your line up looks great btw, very similar to ours this year! Not long now xx

Yes, ADRs open at 6am Orlando time, FPs at 7. There's the confusion.

A sympathetic CM won't help. They removed the CM's ability to book beyond your reservation about two years ago. There was about a three month gap after they changed the +10 to + [lenght of stay] where CM's could still do the full +10, but that's long gone.
