Hi all. Just 70 days now till WDW and im trying to find somewhere really nice to have an evening meal. Our DD is 16 and want somewhere with both character and great food that not too expensive but not cheep either. We also have a 10 year DD too so something that she will like will be great. Any Ideas both in and out of the parks.

My mom took me for my 16th birthday in August, and I had so much fun. We ate at Hollywood Brown Derby and it was both mine and my mom's favorite meal of the trip. Its not character if you're looking for that, but I would recommend it

I just went for my 16th in December! 16th B-day meal was at Ohana. Absolutely amazing. Get a later reservation around 9:30 for the 10:00 fireworks!! Couldn't have been a better choice.12299230_1096285167062419_879007421326924817_n.jpg

DD wanted Be Our Guest for her 16th bday. It can be difficult to get, but it might be worth stalking the ADR's to see if you can get one. The food is good - not great - but the ambiance is lovely, and you can meet the Beast at dinner.

1900 Park Fare is fun, you have Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and the step-sister and those 2 are a hoot.
We went for my granddaughter's birthday and had a special birthday cake delivered there, it was a fun night.

A few non-character suggestions... Be Our Guest (you meet the beast but it's not a character meal), Ohana, or maybe somewhere like Le Cellier or Brown Derby?

Character suggestions.. I've never done 1900 Park Fare but she may love it. Personally I'm not a big buffet fan. What about Akershus? Or Tusker House if you are looking for characters?

My DD will be turning 20 during our trip next month and on her birthday March 6 we are having breakfast at CRT, lunch at LTT (her favorite lunch in MK) and dinner at BOG followed by the Wishes dessert party. IMO there is nothing more special than eating in a castle on your birthday!

I like character meals for the pictures, but I don't think any have great food. We went for my daughter's 16th last May and went to Via Napoli because it's her favorite and they sing to you:)

If you are slightly adventurous, perhaps Tusker House is one to look at!...they have meats and potatoes and salmon and fruit, but also, some unique salads and rices! Some items are uniquely spiced, but think cinnamon and cardamom, NOT HOT spices like chili peppers. Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, as I recall.
