They just don't do well if they get a big lead. For some reason, they don't know how to hold on to it. I had the same thought when I saw them play the Bucs live... they gots a good lead... wonder if they'll blow it.....

Once they get a big league the coaches like to sit on it and play for protection instead of trying to keep scoring, very frustrating! The defense is making me nervous. Hopefully with the 2 week break they can all be healthy for the playoffs.

I'm glad Drew Brees didn't break Dan Marino's record, no offense intended toward Drew just happy for Dan!

One of our local FOX newscasters, this morning on their AM news show, said that the break will not only give the team a break but the fans as well because the team makes us NERVOUS with those close games.

I was a secretary at Purdue University for years and walked with Drew during a March of Dimes walk (he was with San Diego then, and actually was in a walking cast!). My nephew was on a conversant basis with him, and he's a really nice guy. Wished he could have pulled it off this year!

Drew is a hero in these parts- he's done so much for New Orleans, especially after Katrina. Too bad we don't have a defense to back up the offense.
