I did 10.25 miles in 2 sessions on the treddie today!!! YAY!!! :flower:
 
Haven't posted lately, did not exercise at all last week. Hectic at work after taking 3 days off (1 day sick and 2 days for funeral).

Today is the start of a new week and the chance to get back on track. Even though I spent 6.5 hrs working, after taking Lynne to the airport, I managed to do 45 min on the treadmill. Felt good to actuall force myself to move :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

My plan for the week is to exercise every day, eat as healthy as possible while staying at a hotel, and drink plenty of water.

Tomorrow is weigh in so I can see what effect my lousy week had.

Good morning fellow losers :wave: :wave:

WI this morning was disappointing. I gained 2.5 lbs. This is a new day and I am determined to get back on track. Exercise every day, eat healthy, and :drinking1 lots of water.

Goals for day:
8 glasses of water
30 - 60 min exercise
no non-diet soda
eat healthy

Have to head for work so I can finish early enough to hit Long Island before rush hour. It's a 5.5 hr drive.

ONWARD AND DOWNWARD :banana: :banana: :banana:
 
Hello 170's!! It is so nice to be here, although hopefully it is a short visit!!

I lost 2 pounds this week making me 178.

My eating was pretty good last week, but my exercise left a lot to be desired and my water intake was not very good. I am hoping to improve both of these things this week!

Kathy~It looks like our goals for the day are about the same, good luck.

Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers for my kids. They are both doing really well.

Mornin Team!!

Well my headcold is just about over - How can I tell? By the blisters surrounding my nose from blowing so much :rotfl2: I am finally starting to feel better.

This weekend was the last performances of DD17 high school musical so it was a very busy time. The kids did really well and enjoyed their time!! :flower: :flower: Plus DD20 came home for spring break which means WDW this week :cool1: :cool1:

I have not done well at all with exercise and won't until WDW. Too much going on that I have to put my needs on the back burner. Wish I wasn't working the next 2 days but I have already committed to the subbing assignments.

Eating wise has not been horrible. I find that I eat better when I am exercising.....oh well........going to do the best I can this week and get back to the program (at least the one I am comfortable with) next week.

Tara - sorry to hear about the court case.

To the rest of my teammates - your losses and exercise achievements have inspired me to get through this week and next week I will be right with you again. :Pinkbounc :banana: :Pinkbounc

Good morning Club 150!

Sorry I haven't been around too much. I've been avoiding the WISH boards because I have had too many cheats and too little exercise over the past few days. :blush: Now, I need to face the music so to speak.

Saturday, I had a fish sandwich from Wendy's and a few fries. I only used 1/2 of the bun and made it an open faced type of sandwich. I also shared my sandwich with DH and DDs. (They only have fish during Lent so I had to have one.) After church on Saturday, I had 4 small pieces of pizza and a huge salad.

Sunday, I had a hot dog with cheese, cottage cheese, 2 pretzel and cheese snack packs, roast beef, broccoli, mashed potatoes, 2 pieces of whole grain bread, strawberries sweetened with Splenda, shortcake, and 2 tacos from Taco Bell. :(

I'm not quite sure why the binge this weekend, but my body is feeling it today. So, today it is back OP and drinking tons of water to flush the yuckies out.

I didn't weigh-in this weekend. I don't think I can handle the results. I will weigh-in next Sunday and see what happens.

Keep on keeping on everyone! You CAN do it! :cheer2:
 
May I just Say how much I admire all of you? Some (thin) people think it should be so easy to lose the weight, I got down to 150 last fall and I am hoping to lose 5 more lbs.but I am stuck here.
Remember everyone "potatoes are NOT your friend". :teeth:

Christie!! Puhlease come detail my car??? I think that's atleast 500 calories burned! :) I walked 9 miles this weekend and although I had some cheats I didn't come anywhere near going over my calorie allotment and still the scale is up 1.5 pounds...I know it's from inflammation from the walks...still sore but it sure would be nice to walk 9 miles and see the scale go down! :) I'll give it time...official weigh in is Thursday.

Jen!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: 10.25 miles in ONE day!!!! How in the world can you NOT break into the 150's!!! :) I'm hoping as I get the next 20 pounds off that I'll have the energy and determination you have!! It's just sooo great to hear and visualize!!! :)

Kathy! Ick 5.5 hour drive!! Hope the roads are clear and you've got your sweet bottle of water next to you! Don't fret about being up...we all have up days and usually it's just water retention from eating too much salt or other type foods..it always helps me to have a really low low carb day with lots of water and that help flushes some of that excess water away. So if you get a salad for lunch today just imagine me right there with you...that's what I'm having to shake the 1.5 pounds I'm up since Friday! :)

Christy!!! :jumping1: Ummm...I didn't see you going CRAZY :crazy: YOU ARE IN THE 170's!!!! That is INCREDIBLE!!!! Just one more 10's and you'll be in the 150's!!! Do you know you are officially less than 20 pounds away from 150's??? WAHOO!!!!!!!!

Linda!! You poor thing!! I can't stand those cold infested noses! Hoping spring comes soon and you can clear all that cold away! You've had a lot going on...and it sounds like you made some GREAT eating choices...once you get back to your bouncing healthy self...all this discipline will start showing great losses on the scale...just stick to it!! :)

Toystoryduo!!! :grouphug: We are ALL going to have those weeks! The most important is that yours was a weekend not a whole week!! In the long run, that's not gonna hurt you! Make a grocery run today and make sure you have some healthy snacks for those last minute on the run errands or attack cravings. Flush that water and you'll remind your body that you're in it to lose that fat.....stay strong...breathe deeply and smile...I've also found that laughing really helps...let yourself LAUGH! I read somewhere that the average child laughs 400 times a day and the average adult laughs 4x a day!! I've really made a conscious effort to laugh at myself...at my children's jokes...and trying to find the humor in this life....it's there if you look! :) Heck, I laugh at the way my arms jiggle! :)

I'm turning a corner...this weekend has been an emotional roller coaster. I'm going to one last free legal clinic help and to the attorney who said for me to appeal...I really don't see how an appeal would work because they don't retry the case they just look to see if there were any errors. The saddening thing is with us being out the $3,000 for the surgery..we'll have to cancel any plans for the kids trip to Disney. We've promised them we'd go because of this hard year without Daddy here...but it looks like we can't. I've been soo strong through this year, but this event is that last straw and I've been a weeping willow this weekend. I can tell the stress is not good for me and I think I'll write a letter to each of the defendant's telling them how their actions have impacted our family and let that be my carthartic release. Coming here and seeing you guys moving forward and meeting challenges has really kept me centered. Thanks all!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!! I made it to the 220's!

I lost 1.5 lbs...........I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!!! :cheer2:

Yesterday was a really bad day and you can read about it in my journal. But I lost 1.5lbs so it makes up for the the day.

How is it possible that you start out the day not losing anything since you started 4 days prior, but yet the next morning you weigh in and find that you lost something, even after a bad day? Not arguing with it mind you, just curious.

Anyways, I am happy and just thought I would check in with you guys.

By the way, when I change my weight ticker for losses, do I always have to make a new ticker or is there a way to save it and just change the wieght portion? ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
 
Do you guys realize how many of us have broken into NEW 10's in the past 7 weeks??? It's like an epidemic!!!! :banana: :banana: I LOVE seeing those 10's whoosh by!!! We're that much closer to 150's!!!

Eleanor!!! You could be our mascot!!! You're the only one of us that is actually in the 150's!! We'll cheer you on soo completely that you'll get those last 5 pounds off for sure!!! Hop on in if you want and we'll help you get those last 5....I really think those last 5 are much more stubborn than the first 20 that I lost. You can do it!!!! :cheer2:

We don't want to seem ungrateful...but BE GONE!!! :) I really noticed a difference when I got to the 220's (from the 240's for me)..and you'll love the teens!!! You're doing GREAT...keep up the GREAT attitude and make each day a reward for yourself and flush it down with lots of water!!! So easy for me to say..I'm the worst at getting my water in!

GREAT NEWS GUYS!!! Well, atleast on the life stresses...I was sooo low this weekend and this morning but I made a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies to take to the attorney who helped me last week. I had written to a pro se group about my case and they said I blew my chances and to get over it. They weren't very easy on the let-down, to say the least. So I was sure I was out of our money. Well, the attorney today LOVED my cookies and corrected my understanding...I did not appeal the decision I appealed it to a higher court and it's just like throwing out that case ever happened...so I do get a new trial and he assured me I would win! :) I just have to subpoena the vet and unfortunately with the new case and new court there can be many nuisance continuances...the poor vet could lose lots of money just to show up for my case if the other side continues and continues...ugh! But must be positive...on a down note...I managed to AVOID all licking of fingers while making the cookies...even stuck to two slimfasts for breakfast/lunch (no appetite) but as soon as I got this good news I came right in and ate two cookies...UGH!!! Why must I reward myself with food? I didn't go crazy...I could have had 4...but I wished I could have not even have gone there...baby steps. baby steps...now I need to go drink some water!

Finally arrived on the island. Tell me why I applied to do teh consulting work down here :confused3:confused3 Traffic is rediculous. Haven't had a chance to find the fitness center yet but will after eating supper. I only stopped twice on the way down so I didn't get much water in today either.

Edit - checked out the fitness center. It has stationary bikes, stairsteppers, elliptical, treadmills and a nautilus machine. I should be able to find somenthing to do.
 
Kathy! Whew! You made it!!! What a Loooong drive! :) This helps me to get my water in when travelling...I go to Costco or warehouse grocery and buy bulk the bottles of water...I just plunk them in my trunk and they're always cold and ready to drink...it's not so good in the summertime here but it is great to have in the water....of course you may have to insulate yours with a blanket to make sure they don't freeze! :) Hope you have a great work week there and remember we're behind you!!!! Try and add any extra steps to your day...you'll be pushing that scale down before you know it! :) :grouphug:

Happy aides of March everyone! :) It's my dog's 12th birthday today...if it's nice we'll take her to the park. we've had a cool front...I want the sun back! :) Well, I'm going to push the water...been really bad on that end...and eat a salad for lunch....let's get those pounds gone this week everyone!! We're halfway through March...let's MARCH OFF THOSE POUNDS!!!

Well my WI today went pretty well and lost another 1.4 pounds for a total of 44.8 :cool1: I was soooo close to getting my 45 pound clippie :guilty:

Well my current weight is 163.8, so just 4.8 pounds to go till I'm offically made it to the 150's :banana:

Please! I ADVISE every 150 WISH'er to go check out Tera's journal! If you don't have much time just read her first entry and jump to the last three pages...she has pictures that will keep you from snacking today! :) She is what losing is alll about! You'll see how healthy her face looks now how her hips are shrinking before your eyes! So WAY TO GO Tera!!!! You are doing soooo well and such an inspiration to us all! :)

I need some yelling at to STOP the junk food nibbles! Yesterday it was two chocolate chip cookies..today it was 6 puffy cheetos! I've got to have a good weigh in Thursday because there's only 2 more weeks after that to get out of the 180's!!! I want to be a 170's girl SOO badly! :) Yeah, yeah, I know then I'll be whining to be a 160's girl... :teeth:

P.S. Teresa, what kind fo scale do you use??? I'd love to see .2 increments...these .5 pounders are stinkers! :) Surely somewhere they'll come up with an inexpensive .1 scale! :)

I went to my WW meeting last night and I disposed of half a pound. I was hoping to claim my 25 pound clippie this week but it didn’t work out that way. So I guess I will have to wait until next week, only half a pound away. I have lost my first 10%, I did that about three weeks ago. I am thinking about starting a journal to see if that will help me meet my goals.
