VDH Questions for Purchasing

I was hoping somebody would buy after this post, I want you to be direct too, idk why

I wouldn’t mind being direct, but the only perk I would utilize is staying at LSL (& possibly other future resorts), or VDH. So I can just buy VDH resale and rent for LSL once in a while.

The comfort of the bed is so important to me especially since last time they made us wake up at like 4 am iirc to try to get into the virtual queue for shopping at the popular stores or lining up for Lorcana. I really hope they dont do that mess again. My wife said no to the duo studio for this one so deluxe studio it is.

Good call on the Deluxe Studio. I can only handle the Duo Studio bed for one night, max two. But boy do those point charts make me want to book them. I have to remind myself how much more I prefer sleeping and staying in a Preferred Deluxe Studio...one of the reasons be bought more points at VDH.

I want to try it, but I just know its going to be an issue. The low points are oh so tempting especially on a longer trip than usual and lower tot!

When we sleep in a studio my wife always sleeps on the murphy bed and im in the other bed because of her army of pillows and she has back pain so she rolls around at night. Thats why I wish they had a king bed studio option for us. I will try the duo for a weekend stay one day

Its set!!! And got confirmation that we will be dvc y right away and can go to star view station right after too!!

Also not too late to back out of magical beginnings if thats what we decided. Told her to send me the split for 50 50 50 and for 100 and 50 50 just for fun before I arrive I dont like doing math on the spot it will take me some time to figure this out

if I do 200, how would you guys split it? I def dont know that i want to split it 50x4!

if go up to 200. I’d do 150 & 50 split. No more. Lock in your solid 150 to get grandfathered for when that minimum increases. Then 50 to play with if later sell & buy something else.

2 contracts can always be kept to remain direct. No need for it all to be in one contract. And allows to diversify resorts later if wanted.

I like it because there won’t be conflict with the 150. I just don’t buy with a pre planned might sell attitude. All the extra closing $ and shotgun contracts in my dashboard. Good option, just not my option.

(Started full resale). I locked into the Direct Life when it was 125. Didn’t split. Didn’t care to split. I can look at that contract & say..”There is is! The contract showing I’m Blue. Go Blue!”

My two VHD contracts were because I no longer had the cash for more points (Wouldn’t finance. DVC is just a frivolous purchase that makes you feel good about something you enjoy). Didn’t originally think I’d get more. Those two add up to 155 (locking-in my membership to the 150 for when the other resort expires).
