My 2010 T&C is in the shop. It was squealing in the back and shook when I put on the brakes. Get a call saying it needs new roters and pads. They say the pads are not bad still 8mm out of 12mm which is good but it is mostly the roters. With just 15,337 miles on it I think that is crazy. It is at the dealership because it is a lease vehicle. They can fix the back sound for about $99 but all of it would cost over $750. I am so mad. I don't drive a lot. It is not even 1 1/2 yrs old yet. We have taken 2 trips to Disney in it that is why it has as many miles as it does. I have leased many vans and have not ever had to put roters on any of them before our lease was up. I think they were bad to begin with and now I'm stuck with it. I called Chrysler and complained. They are supposed to get back to me within 24 hrs. If that doesn't work I'm going to the dealership to complain. I have been a customer there for over 16 years. I really like my van.
Does this sound wrong to anyone else? I asked the mechanics that I work with and they said it doesn't sound right. Has this happend to anyone else?
