I know from personal experience that the 14 day ultimate tickets used to work on the 15th day of use, is this still the case with MDE?
I know there was lots of people commenting on this a couple of years ago when I last went but haven't seen anything recently.
It would be really useful to know if I can squeeze another day in at the end, I don't go to Disney every day, but like to have my first and last full day there.

Is it a standard 2 week holiday you are going on, eg landing Sat and leaving Sat 2 weeks later? Last full day being the Friday then you can activate anytime from landing with a 14 day ticket, its only a concern if you want to use it on the day you leave. Or are you going for longer?

Used 14 day tickets 15 days(or 21 day tickets for 22 days) without a problem for many years, don't see how MDE will change this but would be good to know someone has done it recently.

No I'm actually flying in from New York late on Friday evening and flying out of JAX 2 weeks after on Sunday so those two days don't bother me, but I would like to activate it on the Saturday and then it would be nice if it worked the Saturday before we fly home (15th consecutive day)
If not I will be in a quandary - should I use it on the first day or last day! It's not too much of an issue because I am onsite at OKW and will also have 14 day universal tickets which I could prob use on the last day instead (when Diagon alley will be quieter .......NOT!)

it's all in the wording.

The tickets are valid for 14 days from activation.

When you say "in 14 days from now", you don't count today as day 1 but you count tomorrow as day 1

If today is the 1st of the month. In 14 days, we'll be the 15th.
So if I activate my ticket today (1st) it should still be valid 14 days from now, so valid until the 15th, but as I activated it today, that's 15 days total.

the main issue with the 15th or 22nd day is to know wether activation day is counted as day "0" or as day "1".
As it seems it's counted as day "0" and you get 14 days after the activation day.

Universal has a different wording.
Their tickets (bonus ticket) is valid for up to 14 consecutive days, and that's including the activation day.

Disney's T&Cs state that 14 days tickets expire 14 days from activation, and that's not the same.

today is the 19th
so say I activate my ticket today
20th is 1 day from now
21st is 2 days from now
22nd is 3 days from now
...
30th is 11 days from now
July 1st is 12 days from now
2nd is 13 days from now
and 3rd is 14 days from now (from 1st use)

but I've been able to use my ticket from the 19th of June through the 3rd of July and that's 15 days

the only issue here is to know if we get 14 days over a period of 15 days (meaning there must be a day we don't use the tickets) or if we get a full 15 days.
But as far as the wording goes, it makes sense to be able to use it on day 15th as it's really 14 days from (after) activation.

Thank you, I think the wording is a little ambiguous and not as clear cut as you suggest - I know from past discussions that people have questioned Disney and not had a clear answer (no surprise there then :goodvibes)
Likewise I have used a 14 day ticket on the 15th day (but not 15 consecutive days) and I know that once activated guest services will tell you the day it can be last used on.
Just wondered if anyone has recent experience of testing this out it would put my mind at rest with regard to plans :confused3

we also used ours for 15 days last august - but i didn't link my tickets to MDE, so i can't tell you how it will work with that.

Last year in September my DBF and I used our 14 day tickets on the 15th day...we went up fully expecting for it not to work, the wee mickey light spun, turned green and in we went. All our ressies had been linked up through MDE.

I'll be trying it again this year, same strategy of not getting my hopes up and a nice we bonus if it works out :)

We used our 21 day ticket for 22 days last month (did check with guest relations when our tickets could be used until as I didn't want yo rock up on day 22 with the kids in tow, to be turned away)
