Yeah! Your weather report is now overlapping my trip. Looks like my trip will start out warm, even though our flight doesn't land until 8:30. I'm just praying we don't have any winter precipitation here in Arkansas. We don't handle snow or ice well. Or maybe at all. Crossing our fingers for good weather here and there.

We are not expecting perfecty weather, it would be nice, but we know it's not realistic. However, last year our trip ended with our last to days be rainy and cold....not a way you want to remember your time in Florida!!!

I only have to get through 2 1/2 days of work and a busy weekend of cleaning and Xmas decorations!!!! The busy weekend will make the time fly and I am pretty packed at work with trying to make sure I have everything up to date. However, my foot is not healing and I did have to go and see a friend in the emergency department yesterday. She gave me some strips to help keep in closed so it could heal, but unfortunately I was still on my feet a lot yesterday with the regulatory agency that was paying us a visit. But it went well and we passed with flying colors!

I also paid a visit to our Peds ED Waiting Room to see how it was going....it's almost done:

As for today, I'm looking forward to getting the Xmas tree up and getting all of our Disney ornaments out!!!! DD14 and DS11 will need to help out a lot today since I need to try to stay off foot... Well I think since I took them to see the new Harry Potter movie after a long and busy day at work and only 5 days away to WDW they should be able to assist Mom today.

I also need to run to the bank, grocery store for pet supplies for Tink and Max while we are gone and I may need to go and get more Xmas lights....okay so much for staying off my foot. The bank and grocery store are a must, but maybe I can send DH for the lights tomorrow.

So far the plan for our first day is to get up at 4 a.m., shower, last minute packing, wake-up the kids (still trying to think of a fun way - any suggestions???), tidy the house, load the car, stop at Grandma and Granpa's by 5:30 a.m. to drop off Max (Tink will be at a neighbors - G&G do not like cats), airport by 6 a.m., flight at 8:05 a.m., pass out on plane, land by 11:40 a.m., get a Mountain Dew , ME and hopefully to the Poly by 1 p.m. and then we are going to the POOL!!!!

After a relaxing afternoon by the pool we will get ready to go to MK!!! The crown calendar shows a 9 and I'm shocked it's not a 10. We are realistic that it will be packed and only plan to do a few rides. DH won in one of our Disney games the first ride and he has picked the railroad..... Not my first choice but he won and has NEVER been on it. So okay ...we will all humor him but we will be biting our nails as we ride by everything else we would rather be doing. I can't remember if we played for the second ride, so we will have to play something this weekend for that. My DH likes to pick on me for this tradition and wants to know when we are going to play a game for 1st bathroom to use....

So here is to a busy day of me trying to stay off my foot.....

Today's forcast for the Chicagoland area is 60 degrees!!!! This is not normal for us so we need to take advantage of this....so DH is bending to my mind tricks and is going to put up the outside Xmas lights. I beg him every year before we go so when we get home we can just focus on Xmas shopping and the actual holidays. So I may get my wish this year....

I pre-order my photopass this morning and I will be packing the last of the kids items. They can live off their "left over" clothes for the rest of the remaining 2 (DS11) or 2 1/2 (DD14) days left of school. I will iron the remaining work clothes that I need to get me through my final 2 1/2 days of work!!!

This year I am going to try to save some money, yet get my photos by doing what some DISers have done and that is take photos of the photo screens of the attractions that don't have photopass. I usually only purchase them if they are to die for...someone looking extra ridiculous or cute. But they are $$$$$$ so I will see how my camera holds up on this option. But after last year I did get addicted to the photopass option, especially after DD4 first experience at BBB - these photos came out great.

Speaking of BBB, DD4 has an 8:30 a.m. appointment and the park does not open until 9 a.m. that morning. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fun photo idea as we walk down a practically empty MK??? DD14 plans on doing a few cartwheels.

DS11 has been given some additional homework to complete this weekend before we leave. To my amazement he came down this morning and started his homework at 6:30 a.m.. Now DS has never been very "accountable" so to see him doing this now brought tears to my eyes. He is growing up right before my eyes. So for all of you out there with kids that are not organized or accountable...there is hope!

The Xmas tree is up with all of our Disney ornaments (and of course the other ones, but the Disney ones are showcased)!!! We are so close!!! Or as my DD4 states everytime she checks how many days are left..."Were getting closer!" This started at 354 days by the way....

All we seem to be focusing on is Disney, Disney, Disney in this household!!! Oh and the cat is happy the tree is up to and she has found her spot under it on my Disney tree skirt getting it filled with her hair.

I do need to get out of this place and recharge!!!! Someone told me a few weeks ago that I get a little crazy trying to get so many things wrapped up! So this year I am try to not get all frazzled Okay I'm just hiding it better!!! Just look for me when I return....I'm buying a Grinch t-shirt so the day after I come back I can tell people what decorations they need to get rid of....I figured I might as well have a little fun with it.

So today I get to see if this early bird check-in with Southwest Airlines is worth it!!! The only proble is that I have been feeling a little under the weather with sinus and sore throat issues thanks to the sinus issues. It has been unseasonably warm her in the Chicagoland area. Last night it poured and has brought back the cold weather, but for those of you with sinus issues this up and down of temps just does not help.

Back to Southwest...This is our first time flying Southwest!!! We have flown United, American and Airtran but never Southwest. So this is my first experience with not having an assigned seat...I hope this is not an arguement waiting to happen. Has anyone who has flown SW ever seen passengers start to argue as to "who was there first" it has to happen from time to time.

So today I have to get four surveys down, meet with four of my staff, wrap up my own projects, and meet with a few other individuals to make sure they know where things are in case any regulatory agencies show up!! It has been my dream that just once that some regulatory agency show up while I am on vacation sitting on a beach while sipping a margarita.... Surveys are very stressful and you never know if it's going to be a level headed surveyor or someone that enjoys in deameaning your capabilities.

So I better get going so I can get all of this done. I will also check movie times for tomorrow because I would like to squeeze in taking DD4 to go see Tangled!!! A new princess movie and then off to WDW!!! However, there is still cleaning and last minute packing to get done tomorrow as well. I may even drop the dog of at my parents house so it's one less thing Thanksgiving morning!!!

This has been a non-stop, from h - e- double hockey stick day!!!!!!!! It started with last night and I was not feeling well, that ended with a shot of Nyquil and early to bed. Then back up this morning at 2 a.m. (not on purpose) finally started getting ready around 4 a.m.. The goal was to get my last minute work items wrapped up, meeting from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then back to wrap up and out of the office by 11 a.m....well I got out by 11 a.m., but just on time. Everyone needed something from me then there was surprise party for someone (made a quick appearance) and then just back in time to wrap up, but I still had to take one thing with me....simple right???

Heck No! A code comes across my pager and I am off to the hospital to respond, ran up 6 flights of stairs with a stuffed up nose and in heels and addressed the issue. Received a round of applause from co-workers for running up the stairs in heels and ran out to make an 11:35 a.m. showing of the new movie Tangled! It was very cute...I will not ruin anything, but look for hidden Mickey's and some characters from other movies - I counted 3 other characters from previous Disney movies.

Then it was back home to scream at the computer, run and get an ink cartridge because of course the printer has to run out today, print the boarding passes and on to DD14 and my salon apptointments. Then back home - first meal of the day - and a vodka tonic for nerves. Now I am packing some last minute items, showers for the kids, another vodka tonic for Mom, and checking the alarm for 4 a.m. (Middle is on right now and can't go to sleep until Cougar Town is done ) then off to bed to TRY to sleep tonight. But our household is like those old WDW commercials - "I'm to excited to sleep!"

Anyway - to those of you who weren't to board to join me thank you! I look forward to hearing about your plans to take care of my post WDW blues! I will hopefully complete a TR this time. (Nemo32 - I have your DBF address and will get that postcard out!! Thanks for keeping me company!)
