TOTAL INCLUDING TAX $9.80

We both thought both of our snacks were really good. We already decided that next time we go to Disney, everyday we go to Epcot, we will be hitting the France Bakery and get something new each time.

Saw your cake story on, I think, the food pictures thread.
Really enjoying your review! :thumbsup2

That's a great excuse for more reasons to visit Epcot. ;)

We split a pepporni pizza $6.09 and breadsticks $3.99 and we each got a water (not pictured) $2.00 each

TOTAL COST INCLUDING TAX $14.73

We thought the pizza was really good. It didn't taste like it was on multi-grain dough like others have reported the pizza is on now. It looked and tasted like it always has, like regular pizza dough. The breadsticks were warm and soft and they were good as well. We will return to Pizzafari.

Day 4 - Aug 8th - Con't.

For dinner we had a ADR for 50's Prime Time at 5pm.

Dessert - Brownie Sundae - Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, and Caramel topping $5.99 - We split this, however DH ate most of it, while I nibbled on it. I was to full to eat any dessert. I was really wanting S'mores but next time I will make sure I get my S'mores. Our waiter automatically brought 2 spoons - we didnt even ask.

Our waiter feeding DH
- Yes there is a story behind this pic. Right after we got the dessert, DH asked our waiter if I could take a pic of our waiter feeding DH. He wanted to look like he was being scolded :rotfl: As you can see our waiter gladly did

We LOVED this place!! We loved the atmosphere, the service, the food, and our waiter was sooooooooooo funny!! Our waiter was our "brother". Right after we got seated and he came back around to get our drink orders, he said to both tables, our table and the table next to us who had like 6 people in their party, did you say hi to your cousins? So we said hi. And then he looks at their table and he was like what are you waiting for? You need to set the table. What do you think you are on vacation or something? :lmao: DH and I already had ours set!

During dinner a couple tables away from us, this girl who looked like she was in her 30's kept whining. So their waitress was like attention everyone with the girl facing a wall. *Name* keeps whining. On the count of 3 we are gonna shout and shake our fingers at her, stop whining, shame on you! :lmao:

A little bit later, one of the women next to us, our "cousins" was "acting up" as well. So our waiter, made her get up and face a wall right behind me, and he was like attention everyone! *Name* has been whining, tatle telling, refused to set the table, and cant eat all her vegatables. On the count of 3 we are gonna shake our fingers at her and say shame on you!

Our "cousin" being scolded. DH just HAD to take a pic :rotfl:

Both women who got scolded were laughing so hard I could have sworn they were gonna start crying from laughing so much. DH and I both agree that this is probably our favorite place among a very select few to dine at in Disney. We have never laughed so hard during a meal before.

I can't believe I just found your thread! SAI usually gets a bad rap, but it looked good to me. You aren't helping me narrow down our choices, lol. Can't wait to read the rest.

Your comment about Mexican food cannot be more incorrect. Mexicao has different regions, and differing regions have differences in their food.

It's like cajun food, Southern food and Soul food are all American food. None holds exclusive rights to the title, yet all are authentic American food.

It's like that with Mexican food. What is usually found in Southern California is typically very autherntic Sonora style Mexican food, and my personal favorite. There is also Tex-Mex, which is very popular near Texas, as the name suggests and others.

http://www.mex-recipes.com/traditional-mexican-food.html

I am glad you enjoyed your trip and meals, but please stop telling us that different types of Mexican food aren't "real" when in fact, they are.

Sorry but Tex-Mex is NOT real mexican food. Its mexican food americanized. That is what I was getting at. People go to SAI expecting Tex-Mex when they shouldnt. They have to expect authentic mexican food. Food you would find from Mexico. Not tex-mex. Look people can argue with my statement. But like it or not, the only way your gonna find actual 100% true mexican food is in mexico. There might be good places around the US that might be "true" mexican food, chances are though, they are using american ingredients and/or cooking it another way then they would have in Mexico. I honestly dont no why people are getting so bent out of shape on my comment. Its what I think. And if you dont like it, you dont have to. Just leave your comments to yourself please. I swear my DH was right. People on the boards do love to complain and argue about everything.

 I think that some reviews are nitpicked over too much. I know awhile back I know someone had foodie in their thread title, and someone argued they weren't a foodie because of the restaurants they were eating at. (And that's actually where I got the title of my review from.) I don't get why people need to make rude comments like that on other's dining reviews, and put the posters down. I think everyone who takes the time to write reviews is doing a great service to the DIS, and if someone doesn't like what the OP writes, perhaps they shouldn't read it.

First and foremost, thank you for sharing your dining adventure with us - I LOVE your report and pictures! :cool1:

Second, I wholeheartedly agree! What my dh and I wouldn't give for even something as simple as an authentic French baguette!!! It just isn't possible for food to truly be authentic unless it is prepared in it's native country (using a Canadian oven, using Canadian flour, even just using Canadian water is NOT going to result in an authentic French baguette, no matter what you do - and we know, we've tried LOL). Anyway, I'm not trying to start/continue any debates on this (are debates even allowed on a food report, for heaven's sake?!), but I just wanted you to know that I agree with your interpretation of "authentic" :thumbsup2

Agreed.

Looking forward to your next update! popcorn::

Thanks

Just to clarify to others maybe everyone needs to read this article
http://www.post-gazette.com/food/20000817mexican1.asp

At the very bottom of the article it says:
Following the lead of the others, I spread the guacamole on the entire tortilla. Something happens to avocados when they make the trip north; I have never had fresher guac than I had in Mexico.

You can't cross the border with produce, and there are good reasons for this. Your basket of fresh foods from Mexico could include some pests unfamiliar to your plants back home. There is also some poetic justice in this restriction: Only in Mexico can you eat what is truly Mexican.

I know I am quoted later, but I have decided that this conversation is not something to have as a priority in my day.:duck: (Just FYI that tomato is NOT from Mexico.)

Disney8704 - I can't wait to read the rest of your reviews, especially about the Tusker House breakfast.
