Subbing! Sounds really great! I am debating about taking our kids to RC in DTD, but had heard about the poor service, so I wasn't sure about doing it. Glad your food was good. The volcano looks really cool!

Our service at RFC in DTD was excellent. The one in AK, was OK. It wasnt poor or bad but wasnt excellent either. We had a waitress who was in training and a waiter and they were really funny. They even offered to take a pic of me and DH which was really sweet of them. Infact I was taking a pic of the gorilla by us and the girl started walking past us, noticed I was taking a pic and asked if she wanted to take ANOTHER pic of us. 
I was like no, thats OK. And the moment they asked if we wanted dessert and I said sparkling volcano they got a huge smile on their face and they were like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh the volcano good choice!! It was pretty funny. You had to be there

Day 3 - Aug 7th
Breakfast - In-Room Dining
Lunch - San Angel Inn (pic 1-7)
Dinner - Coral Reef (pic 1- 17/ post 34)
Snack - France Bakery (pic 1 & 2 / post 62)
I just wanna say a quick note here - sorry about any pics your about to see are a little fuzzy. I couldnt get my camera to work with me and get a good setting. Also because theres so many pics, I have to do this review in 2 parts. The 2nd part is in the next post.
August 7th was our 4th anniversary day. We did in-room dining. I completely forgot to take pics, but remember what we ordered.
I ordered the French Toast - Cinnamon-raisin French toast, served with syrup and butter with a side order of Sausage $13.28. I ordered Sausage but they brought me bacon

DH ordered the Three Cheese Omelet - three eggs with cheddar, swiss and mozzarella cheeses served with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit $11.99
I ordered Apple Juice $1.79 and DH ordered Orange Juice and Milk $4.68.
TOTAL INCLUDING TAX, DELIVERY CHARGE, AUTOMATIC TIP & EXTRA TIP $50.00
Both of our meals were really good. When they stopped by to bring us the food, I took the tray and brought it inside the room and then we set all the food outside on our balcony on the little table. We then ate, talked and watched the animals from our balcony. It was very peaceful and romantic in its own little way. All the things we ordered, can be found at Boma's breakfast.
Lunch was at San Angel Inn. We had a 11:30am ADR and when we checked in, I asked if we could sit by the water and they said sure no problem. SAI had just opened up when we checked in, so Im glad that we got a early ADR. Gave us a much higher chance sitting by the water then if we had booked a later ADR time.

Mine - Tacos Al Carbon - I had them filled with beef and only leave the cheese in and leave out the sour cream, tomatoes and peppers. I should have asked for lettuce but didnt, so I then stole some of DH lettuce from his Tacos and added it. $14.00
DH - Tacos Al Carbon - He had them filled with beef and left everything in it except for the peppers and he added lettuce. $14.00
We both ordered sodas $2.00 each
TOTAL INCLUDING TAX & TIP $41.00
OK first off I know that SAI gets A LOT of hate reviews, but I beg the differ - The service was great, atmosphere WOW and the food was actually pretty good. We didnt go in expecting Tex-Mex because you cant when you go to eat at SAI. Infact you cant expect unauthentic food from Epcot. Epcot only has authentic food. DH asked about the beef in our tacos, and according to the waitress, the beef they use in their tacos is the same beef you would find in Mexico. The beef doesnt taste like your normal ground beef you get here in the US in grocery stores. Its shredded spiced beef, and thats what made the tacos so good.
I would recommend SAI to everyone. Just dont go in expecting the same stuff you get at Taco Bell or other mexican places here in the US. Cuz if you do, you will be disapointed. Also for all those who complain the tables are to close together - I didnt think they were. Their no more closer together then all the other CS and TS places in Disney. And as for the lighting goes, its just that way. I know many people complain about the lighting in SAI. Its supposed to simulate night time. I found the lighting be very nice and romantic. Sorta like a soft candle light glow. We will be going back to SAI. Probably not next trip as we wanna try other countries, but we will be back!

Dinner was at Coral Reef. We had a 5pm ADR. We checked in at 4:45pm and got seated in 5 mins which was really good! When we checked in, I told DH to go away for a minute. I then told the lady at the podium I had arranged the diver and menu's and asked if they were ready to go and she said yes they were. We were blown away at the atmosphere. The pictures you see on here doesnt do CR any justice at all. It is very beautiful, classy, elegant and just stunning! DH instantly told me that I picked the perfect place for our anniversary dinner. We got a table right next to the tank. I remember reading on here all the time how kids love to push behind your chair if your sitting by the tank and look in the tank. We had no problems with anyone. And there were a lot of kids in there at the time as well. Infact I didnt see 1 kid get up and run to the tank during our entire meal and we were in there for about an hr.

Our personalized menu's - they only gave us these and no regular menu
They came out PERFECTLY. The lyrics you see is from Promise the song they play after IllumiNations. Its not all the lyrics, just part of the song. Well that was the song we danced to at our wedding. I had walked down the aisle to We Go On the song they play when the globe in IllumiNations is opening up.
Bread with Oil & Drinks
Mine - Peter Pan souviner cup filled with Soda and a Tinkbell light $6.49
DH - Peter Pan souviner cup filled with Soda and a Peter Pan light $6.49 and a strawberry daiquiri $7.50. The dark blue glass is my water. DH also had a water as well. The blue thing you see coming out of DH daiquri is a plastic dolphin. I had forgotten that CR gave those out with alcoholic drinks and I was surprised we had gotten one. I took the dolphin off the glass and he came home with us.
Appitizer - Caesar Salad $6.99 - We both got this
Entree - Grilled Chicken Breast - served with roasted parsnips tossed in mizuna and almond-parsley pesto finished with toasted almonds $20.99 - We both got this
While eating our entree the diver came down. Keep in mind DH had NO idea about both the diver and menu. He didnt even know it was possible to arrange all of this. DH looked in the tank and waved to the diver and the diver waved back. He thought that maybe the diver was down there to feed the fish or something. And then DH realized that the diver was coming closer and closer to the window And then the diver did a back flip and litereally slammed this up against the window
He then took shells at the bottom of the tank and started throwing them up like it was confetti and did a couple other things - sorry cant remember exactly what he did. We both then gave him a wave and then he swam off.
DH's smile after the diver left - P.S. - DH said he almost started crying when the diver was doing everything
I asked DH how much he thought the menu and diver cost me. And he was like how much and I said nothing. He was like your kiding me?! I was like nope. Both were free! He couldnt even begin to imagine how I was able to set all of this up and it cost nothing. Till this day, he still doesnt know how its possible to be free. I told him all it took was 1 little phone call to Debbi - the CR manager and got it all set up!
Afterwards our waiter came by and said that he saw the diver come down and I showed him the pics I took. He was shocked how well they came out because of no glare or that stupid white spot you get whenever you use flash against glass. He then asked if we wanted dessert and we said we would order 1 Chocolate Wave and share it. So a few minutes later he came out and gave us our dessert with 2 spoons and told us it was on the house. That made me happy! Free desert - no correction - free AWESOME dessert. My only complaint I had was, I wished we had ordered 2 - 1 for the each of us!
It was sooooooooo good! Very moist. I remember saying as soon as I took my 1st bite - I think I died and went to heaven!

CR was one of our best and favorite meals from this trip. We will DEF. be going back again next trip. We both enjoyed the salad and DH liked his strawberry daiquiri. We both liked the chicken a lot - moist and tender. And of course the chocolate wave was to DIE for!

Glad to see the pics of Coral Reef... this was my fav. last year and the only repeat for this year. I also have arranged the menu and diver... my best friend and her family are joining my family for their very first trip and I thought it would be a great surprise... LOVED YOUR PICS!!!
