12 Days of Disney = 1 Happy Family! June 2011 TR (Update x2 7/19)

We watched AI for a while...but then after Simon and Paula left we stopped. I love the new show, The Voice! So much better in my opinion! We did have a great day!

I LOVE The Voice so much better too! I tried watching AI for a while...I just couldn't really get into it. But The Voice was amazing! Great show, but someone should tell Christina Aguilera that she could leave a little to the imagination when getting dressed.

Anywhoo...Thing 3 is awfully cute, huh? I bet you and Thing 2 spoil her rotten! Love the pics from KRR where she got soaked! And that was really quite brave of her to get on it having a fear of the water. I know because DS6 had that fear and while he's okay with water now, he is adamant that he will NOT ride Splash Mountain again.

Love the report so far! I am a teen too and love read other teens reports! You are a great writer! I am going to WDW in 10 days with my parents, brother(12), aunt, uncle, twin cousins (4), and triplet cousins(2 really close to 3) and it will be my dad's birthday while we are in MK!

Our whole family loved The Voice! I wanted Xenia or Dia to win, as I was a Team Blake fan. What team did you like the best? And I agree, Christina could have chosen some more family appropriate outfits! Thing3 is pretty cute! Thing2 and I do tend to spoil her and let her have her way! We were really proud of her for riding Kali River Rapids. As of now, Thing3 claims she won't be riding Splash Mountain again, but we'll see what she thinks next time we go back.

June 10th: I had planned for us to get to EPCOT at 8 for EMH. Did that happen? Nope. My family doesn’t really like to get up early, despite not having a very late night. We got up around 7:30, showered, got dressed and ate breakfast. I believe that the girls shared a muffin for breakfast again. Between 8 and 8:15 we boarded a bus to go to EPCOT. We ended up entering the park at about 8:45, before the mob of people but not early enough to make use of the EMH. Dad went straight to Soarin’ to get fastpasses for later. In the meantime, Thing2, Thing3, Mom and I went over to Mission: Space. The wait for the orange side was only 5 minutes, so we got a baby-swap pass for Thing3. I said I’d sit with Thing3 and wait for Dad so that Mom could take Thing2 on. Dad came back pretty quickly and so we waited in the gift shop for the others. During this time, I was texting disneypolyprincess to confirm our DIS Meet for that afternoon. We confirmed time and meeting place and pretty soon Mom and Thing2 came back from their mission. They waited with Thing3 while Dad and I went. We had a great time, as usual! After that, we decided to head over to the Seas with Nemo and Friends!! The line was nonexistent for the Nemo ride, so we hopped right into our clams! I sat next to Thing2 and Dad, Mom and Thing3 went together. When we got out, we went into the room with the giant Bruce the shark. We took a picture inside his mouth (of course!) and looked around for a minute or two.

Following that, we went into the holding area for Turtle Talk with Crush. We must have just missed a show, because we had to wait a long time! We all enjoyed the show, as we have in the past. On our way out, we stopped to take these pictures:

I am so behind on all things dis!!! I have been setting up my classroom and interviewing for a new job...and stressing over what will happen if I get it and have to leave my class in the first week of school! Ugh! It stinks being a grown up. Great update!!! I love the Nemo pics. I've still never seen the shark. We go straight from nemo to turtle talk and then leave. We never explore because we see so many fish/aquarium things at the shedd aquarium all the time. I always forget about searching for Bruce!

Sounds like you've had a lot going on! My mom has been busy setting up her classroom too...and going to lots of meetings! I don't know which to hope happens for you: you get the new job, but have to leave your class after a week or you stay where you are now, but don't get the job you want! We typically just take the picture in Bruce's mouth and then see Turtle Talk and leave. We have seen plenty of other aquariums, so it's not somewhere we spend a lot of time!

Planning my sons first trip in October 2012 for his fifth birthday and I can't get enough of this site!! I'm excited too since I have not been since I was in second grade!!!!!!

I haven't been on Mission Space in a long time. That's a must do for next trip. Never got a picture with Bruce either. There's always so many people around!

All of us enjoy Mission: Space, so it's usually a must do for us. There are a lot of people around Bruce!! We had to wait a few minutes to get in.
