Finally caught up reading your TR!
I loved the Rose & Crown last summer when I hate there...the food was good, I too loved the toffee pudding. The view for illuminations was the best part along with our server! She was a college student from the UK whose work visa was about to expire and she was returning home in a few weeks. I had so much fun talking to her...I ended up leaving her a $20 tip for about a $60 bill I loved her so much!
Your lion king babysitting movie night sounds like it was a lot of fun...happy belated anniversary to your parents! I might have to steal some of the names you used for you food!
Please treasure your time with your greats! My children lost my grandmother (their great) this past fall. I am so thankful that they spent a lot of time with her and knew her well and will have lots of great memories! She was a very special lady!
Love the pictures of Chef Mickey's...I decided that is how we are going to start our WDW portion of our trip by eating there for breakfast and meeting Mickey!
Looking back on it, I wish I had made our ADR a little later so we could watch Illuminations while eating, but there's always next time! We loved talking to our waiter too! Too funny about the tip!! Our movie night was a lot of fun! Steal away (as long as you post pictures

)! I'm sorry you lost your grandma. We treasure every minute with them! I'm glad your kids got to know her before she passed! They will always have memories of her! Chef Mickey's will be a great way to start your trip! It's so much fun!!
Can't beat Downtown Disney for souvenir shopping! I have the "Judge Me by My Size" t-shirt too! It's one of my favorites, because all of my friends and family tease me about being so short. "The world is big/but little people turn it around!" (Les Miz, Little People) I'll have to look for those Star Wars mystery pins... Sounds like you guys are still having an awesome time! Keep posting!
I know, we love DTD!! We saw the Star Wars mystery pins in the World of Disney and the pin trading store.
Just caught up!
Looks like you're having fun. I just love reading other teen's TRs.
Thank you for joining in! Do you have a PTR or TR?
I love all the cute photo ops at DTD.
How is the slide at POR? Is it long?
The slide at POR is fine...it's not long by any means, but it goes a little bit fast. It's certainly not a thrilling slide, but it's decent.
Cute pictures at Chef Mickey's! It looks like a fun breakfast. And I love the flip flops! They remind me of Minnie Mouse!

Too bad my feet are too flat to wear flip flops.
Thank you! Technically I'm not supposed to wear flip-flops too often (I have really high arches in my feet). I'm supposed to wear sneakers with inserts to support my feet, but in the summer my parents give me a break on those. That stinks that you can't wear flip-flops!
Ok - just joining in and totally caught up now! Found your TR when you posted on my PTR.
Couple of thoughts...
1. You are a fantastic writer!
2. You are an even more fantastic big sister! (Ever think about any long distance babysitting??
3. Congrats on your baptism - very big deal!
4. Love the pictures!
5. I would LOVE to know how to make those flip-flops! Super cute!
I'm really enjoying your TR and can't wait to read the rest!
Thank you so much for joining in! Thank you! I wish I could long distance baby-sit!!

There are so many people with cute kids on the DIS! Thank you, yes my baptism was a very big day for me! To make the flip flops:
1. Buy the flip-flops, ribbon (can't be too thick) and a bottle of "No Fray" (pretty sure that's what it's called)
2. Cut the ribbon into 6 inch long pieces
3. Create a pattern for the ribbon (if you want one)
4. You know how you tie a "criss-cross" in your shoelaces before you tie the bow? You just tie 2 criss-crosses and then that ribbon is secure
5. Repeat until shoes are full of ribbon
6. Spread the "No Fray" stuff on the ends of the ribbon so, well, they don't fray!
Hopefully you understand what I meant...
