So anyone thinking of doing the special 5 night cruise on the Wonder in 2010 that goes to Key West, Nassau & CC? Or is everyone holding off for the new ships?

Just got home from the weekend...had lots of fun but am happy to be home.

Wow..looked at the new destinations for Magic..some nice cruises but definitely out of our league..will wait for 2011.

We will be going with a group of friends on a 7 day Mexican Riveria in 2010 just so I get a cruise in

We are rebooking a mystery cruise for Halloween 2009 so vacation plans are looking up!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Cheryl - sorry BHC wasn't very good..Tori will make me take her anyways...I didn't gamble to much..came out without making to large of a deposit in the bank-o-RCCL.

Didn't solve the mystery but had a lot of fun trying. Several of the actors were the same from last year so we had fun catching up.

Glad you had a great time on your cruise. Tell Tori hi from Courtney and I! (She is still crocheting bags from the book you gave her. I think she has done all of them by now and loves it. Thanks so much.)

As for us, the whole family will not be going, but it is a definite for DH and I
to go on the Baltic cruise. We will be going on the first one in June. We might be taking oldest DS, but that is still up in the air.

I am taking DH's words literally. We talked about it on the furr kids walk and he said go ahead and book them with the discount in booking deposits (if we get them) we can always cancel later. Besides, I think he's buttering me up due to some poker tournaments coming up. Maybe if he plays more often I can cruise in 2010. Ain't I a stinker?

OK... it seems like the 2010 Disney schedule is out and it's given many a bit of a tumble more or less... < chuckles>

Looks like about $9k for quad steerage on my groups' likely 1st choice of date : Aug 11th. We'll soon see if everyone is keen on this... likely 11K for cruise (if a quad window ... my preference) + 11K for about a week plus split between pre and post cruise + air fare... in my case a humble bon fire of frequent flyer points for the kids and cash seats for Alicia and I.... so perhaps another $3K there = (gulp) $25K plus or minus 1K.

For that much we could sail the Princess Sapphire 16 weeks + a 4 niter! Of course, that's like comparing a miniture golf park with thier 12' castle to Disneyland and it's castle in some respects.

OK... time to see what my BILs wanna do about this Aug 11th proposal for 2010. I suspect it's 50/50 for us - especially considering the repo dates with BARGAIN $999 steerage rates have sailing dates which STINK given my calandar restrictions.

WAIT A MINUTE... we MIGHT do an EB REPO ... but mostly WITHOUT any of my family group (IE, just Alicia and our kids going)... as our spring break is generally that time of April. So about a week of the total voyage will be normal vacation time for us - and our kids will miss maybe a week or so of school? Gee might this possibly WORK FOR US after all? And with bargain $999 steerage rates to boot? This is a possibility IF .... IF the rest of my family group agrees to NOT sail August 11th... and NOT sail an alternate cruise over spring break too. The WB REPO is an impossibility for us though ... as missing 2+ weeks of school is unacceptable for us - especially with J in 4th grade and all.

Good luck to all with these 2010 voyage options! When are they gonna start selling these again???

Gee..........glad you had fun on the crusie and did not leave to much of your money in the slots.

Sounds like a plan for 2010!! Any cruise is better than no cruise.

I don't know if I'm interested in spending close to $10,000 just on airfare for the 5 of us....

Funny family news... A cousin of mine was one of the 7 jurors that found O.J. guilty. His name is in the papers & everything.... I guess that is his 15 mins of fame.

I will be in Philly on Aug 6th (night before trip starts - not sure of flight yet) and also have a free evening on August 8th.

I will be in DC on August 10th & 11th with free evenings

I will be in VA on August 12th with a free evening.

On August 15th - I will arrive at WDW until Aug 21st. Flying home on the
22nd. So if anyone is planning to go at that time or live in the area - would love to see you!
