I am so ready for the cruise too! I received my ME tags this weekend, Mousebrat.

My favorite disney character is Goofy. He's been my favorite since watching all the classic cartoons as a kid. And I don't think we've actually met Goofy yet in our trips to the park; hopefully we will remedy that on our cruise

Hi Lisa. Unfortunately since I haven't been active in this roll call (which is really not like me! We haven't been on a Disney Cruise since 2004) and I didn't get to know anyone here plus it's just my DH and myself. Our children are all grown up. Majority of everyone here is young and I am young at heart!

Just got back from visiting my DD in Idaho. She got engaged the weekend before I got there so I got to see her beautiful ring. She isn't getting married until the spring or summer of 2011 because she wants to be able to come home this summer and shop for her dress and do some other planning with her momma in Missouri.

Brad--I think you asked which Disney character was our favorite. For us it is definitely MICKEY!!!!

Denise--I will change Steve, Gary, and Matt's info about the FE exchange on the spreadsheet.


Minybear--It's just me and my DH too. Our kids are grown and on their own. If you want to join the FE, we would love to have you or if you want to just come to the meet and greet on embarkation day at 3 p.m. in the Promenade Lounge, that's great too. Either way I can put your info on our spreadsheet and email you a copy. It's kind of nice to know first names and where everyone lives to start out the cruise. So if you want, PM me your first names, where you live, stateroom #, main or late dining, email address, if and what you are celebrating, and whether or not you want to do the FE exchange. It will probably be Wednesday before I get the spreadsheet updated and sent out.

Calleigh--I got your info and will send you the spreadsheet when I mail the final copy to everyone on Wednesday, hopefully.

We got our ME info last week too. Cruise docs usually arrive about 3 weeks in advance so we should be getting them anytime.

Lisa--How are the DCL house party plans coming along? I think I'm going to wait for the party pack to come before I do any planning on decorating, activities, etc. I think I know what food I'm going to be serving and I want to dig out some old Navigators from past cruises.

Although sign-up for the FE exchange is now closed, anyone just joining this thread or who has been on here but didn't send their info for the spreadsheet is still welcome to attend the meet and greet. It will be held at 3 p.m. on embarkation day--Thursday, December 3rd--in the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3 between Triton's and Parrot Cay.

Looking forward to meeting everyone next month!

I need someones advise. I just ordered our Disney Rewards card today and we are planning on using these rewards for our park tickets. Of course I did put in $10 for speedy delivery which said up to 7 days (I think but it wasnt really quick). I am hoping to get this in next week. Now if I order the park tickets when the reward card comes in and put in express mail would I get the tickets in time for our cruise? or should I just chance it and order the park tickets now and use the reward card on DCL for DCL purchases?

everybody check your front porch - my mom called and she got her cruise docs!!! delivered by ups - she was home and he didn't knock or anything, just left it on the porch. we booked a cat. 12 and she was assigned a cat. 11 on deck 7. i'm sure i got the same thing, but can't wait to get home and see!

You would think Disney would send them all out at one time so I'm guessing maybe it's the carrier (UPS?) But what's really odd to me is my mom getting hers and she lives like 2 miles from me but I didn't get mine. Oh well...fingers crossed for tomorrow!

From my experience, when I ordered my card without the rush it got to me in two days. They are usually pretty quick. When I renewed our passes online they got to us in a week. I think you should be safe ordering them as long as it's next week and no later than that. Now that I think of it though, there are a couple of holidays coming up too so that might delay mail a bit, so maybe be on the safe side and order now.
