What a beautiful big healthy boy! All of my babes would have been 8 pounders too but they all came three weeks early so the heaviest was 7-12 and two were by c section. Mom must be tuckered out! Look at that hair Mom must of had some serious heartburn! I love that first pic eyes wide open...Where the heck am I!? Thanks for sharing Andy congratulations to you and your wife and all the family waiitng for this little man to arrive!:cheer2:

Andy-

He doesn't even look like a newborn. I'd swear he'd already been on the planet a while. He is a big boy with intelligent, observant eyes. Looks like a smart one to me.

Congrats!

Adrianna

back to the cruise, does anyone know the menu and day of the Christmas dinner while we are on the cruise?

Andy....you stole that 2 month old baby from someone and claimed him as your own, didn't you?!? Just kidding....he doesn't look like a newborn at all. Very handsome. Love the scrapbook page. Yours was just born and you have one done. Mine are 11 and 15 and I don't have one done at all. :confused3

Congrats on your arrival last month as well. Sorry if we missed it and skipped over you somehow. :guilty:

As for the Christmas dinner....good question.

TXdeVille,

That "scrapbook page" is something the person doing my official invites threw together. I am nowhere near that talented. The official ones should be done this weekend after we go to the photographer Wednesday. Hope you survived the hurricane.

Andy, Bryson is adorable.:cloud9: You guys did real good:thumbsup2

I also had big babies. 9 lbs for the first son. 8 for our first daughter. Even the twins were big for being early. 6 lb 2 and 5 lb 2. My 9 pounder was born light pink and chubby. No one believed he was a newborn.:lmao:

Enjoy your sweet son Andy. They grow so fast, before you know it he will be running all over the place.

As for the Christmas dinner. Our previous Disney cruise was also over Christmas, but it was 8 years ago. Even if I could remember the menu, I'm quite sure it's changed a little. :rolleyes1 I'm pretty sure I remember having a choice of a traditional holiday dinner selection (and I think you get to keep the menu) Anyway. It was one or two choices, among all the normal menu items.

We are under 5 months now. The time is flying by:yay: I have actually been buying some new vacation clothes. Guess I should start thinking back to school clothes. Enrollment is next week, with the first day of school on the 15th.

I'm off to get my day started. catch ya'll later:thumbsup2

"traditional holiday menu"... so we are having Chinese take out, pizza or grilled steak and shrimp:lmao:

:rotfl2: Now THAT's funny!!! I was thinking cajun fried turkey, inedible sides my MIL made and a sorry excuse for sweet potato pie. (Notice I didn't cook. ) :rotfl: Much more edible if I had IMHO.

As for the scrapbook page, it's still one hell of a page whoever made it. They will make some great invites.

Anyone else sweltering? Actually got some rain today  In the morning and in the evening. Reminds me of Florida. I thought for once the high would be less than 100. :lmao: That was funny. I think we are on day 401 of highs above 100. JK. It's definitely in the double digits though. Doesn't feel as hot as it used to. Perhaps I'm getting old. 102 in the shade the other day in the car. Hope everyone else is fairing well.

On another note.....A good friend of mine and her family are moving back to England tomorrow.

DS and her sons play together as well. I don't feel like doing a darn thing. I asked DH for a ticket to England for my birthday, less than two weeks away, and he laughed at me.

Oh well....at least now I have more of a reason to visit the UK.

Hi everyone hope you are all doing good. We are off on summer holidays tomorrow.:yay:  :dance3: :cheer2: I'll pop in when we get back!!:cool1:

Hey ya'll! The fam is going to be on the 24-28th cruise too! Yey!! This will be our second Christmas cruise (lost count of how many cruises we've done).

It's wonderful! Christmas is always at sea, even though it says Nassau. Christmas dinner is amazing and the menu is the same in all the dining rooms, fyi. Oh, and the ship is beautiful! See you all there!!

If you have any questions, I could maybe answer them. PM me or ask me here!

See you on the ship! Only 4.5 months left!! :cheer2:

Hello berry_disney_girl,and fam:thumbsup2 Glad to have you with us. I'm Brenda, and this is our second Disney Christmas cruise. Course the first one was 8 years ago. We usually cruise with RCCL. This was to be a christmas gift for our DD and the three grandchildren, but they weren't able to make it. Now it's just the four of us.DH,myself, and our 16 yr old boy girl twins. Looking forward to a relaxing four days after a marathon WDW stay.

I remember the capt changed our first Christmas cruise, the capt changed the itinenary to Christmas day at sea. I'm happy to know this is the norm. Thank you so much for clearing this up. We had discussed it several times.:dance3:

Once again, I am happy to see you on our sailing. Pull up a seat, and get comfy. Things are a little slow right now, but will pick up once school starts back.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Been busy with end of summer stuff. Went to Okie City yesterday, stayed the night and hit the Mall this morning. It's tax free weekend for clothing and shoes,so we went to get school clothes for the twins. Got back this evening tired, with aching feet and broke.:rotfl2:

The twins enroll on Thurs, and start school in two weeks. I have mixed feelings. Gone are the lazy mornings we all enjoyed. However, I can get back on my weightloss program and exercise routine. It got stalled with all the running around with and for the twins. I'm actually looking forward to getting back on track.

Hope things are well with you all. Andy, hope you and DW are getting a little sleep at night.

Annette, have fun on your holiday, and stay safe.

Courtney, Sorry about your friend moving to the UK. Maybe you can visit with her next year.

Adriana, Are you unpacked and organized yet?

I'm off to beddy bye. Have a great weekend gang!

Well I am sitting here in a hotel room in Tsawwassen on dh's laptop. Today is day three of ten. Dh just took the kids to the pool so I am having a resty. The neighbours up above us kept me up:banana: :lovestruc ;) If it warms up...very cool only 20c here we will go to a waterpark. If not dh wants to go to the dollar store and the candy store and take the ferry across to the island early. I love being right beside the ocean..the smell ....ahhh:cloud9:

Welcome berrydisneygirl! Should we book excursions in Nassau at all then...so much for the waterpark :confused3

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.....talk to you soon!!

Annette:hippie:

Berry,

Welcome to our little slice of the board.

So if day at sea is Christmas Day does that rearrange the other days? If so, how?

What part of the ATL are you in?

The way it worked when we went, we did our sea day on Christmas day. The next day we were in Nassau, then the last day was CC. Sooo for this cruise, that will be

Wed.....12/24.... Embark
Thurs...12/25... at sea
Fri ......12/26 ....Nassau
Sat......12/27 ...Castaway Cay
Sun.....12/28 ...Port C. Disembark

Not sure how this will impact those who pre book shore excursions, but you may want to keep this in mind if you plan on making Palo or spa ressies. It won't effect us,as we don't plan on booking any excursions in Nassau. I for one and happy to see that this is every Christmas cruise. Nassau celebrates Junkanoo on Dec 25th,so there would be very little open, and the streets would be crowded with merry makers, and parades.

Hey Annette, I'll trade you temps? We are experiencing our sixth straight day of 107 + temps. And that isn't including the heat index:scared1:
Courtney, how are ya'll holding up down south? Have you melted away yet?
Andy, how is little Bryson doing? Hope you and your DW are holding up well under those late night and early morning feedings. :cloud9:

I was going to go mow, but really have no desire to in this heat. By the time it begins to cool off, it'll be dark. Dale will be home tomorrow night and I was going to try to take a little of the honey do's off his shoulders. I should have called someone to come do it for us. but shucks. it's an awful big back yard to push mow,and our riding mower is in the shop......again.:sad2:

Oh well, nothing to do but go jump in the pool again.
