12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

Ladera Ranch which is right next to Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach area. Been waiting for our home to sell in Mississippi so we could move into our new home in Ladera Ranch! Looks like we will move in in the spring. San Diego is a very nice area. There and South OC are our favorite places in California that we would want to live,

I think Target, KMart and Meijer are about the only major stores in town I DIDN'T hit yesterday!!! And I dropped, that's for sure!!! No Disney store here . Next weekend we are taking Mom down to Indy to this wonderful spice store to let her stock up on spices for her kitchen, though, and I am going to talk the ladies into a side trip to the mall there to hit the Disney store one more time before the cruise. Hopefully they will have some decent things still.

Got Christmas cards all ready to go last night (ours and my DM's) so I will stop by the post office today and put them in the mailbox. That is one major task done! Need to get in the attic and get stockings down. DH doesn't want to put anything up but I want to at least put stockings up and my DB and his DW will be here when we get back from the cruise so they should have some too. I'd like our house to at least look a little Christmassy!!!! I may go do that in a few minutes while DH is still sleeping .

Crazy, organized me has been printing out my car rental info, hotel reservation info, directions to hotels, etc and putting them in travel docs folder along with passports and cruise contract printed from DCL's site. Now just waiting for Cruise Docs to arrive and the day before to print boarding passes!!!!

DD approved the tops I got her yesterday though I do have to take one back and get the next size up as the one I got is a bit small. Not bad for doing it on my own though . Especially with little miss picky there!!!!

Glad that you mentioned the passports I need to put them with my paper work.. We don't have passports,we still use our Birth certificates. You would think that after all our cruises that we would have them but never wanted to spend the money. Will have to get them for next cruise so will work on that when we get back.

Am going to pull all my cruise clothes out today for all of us to see just exactally what I still need. Kids are taller and well for me..I have lost weight to get into my clothes but have had some problems with menopause and have had my menses for 18 days now and am bloated and nothing is fitting.

Am taking meds to stop it but it is not working so good chance may be bloated whole trip so need to either get some new clothes or squeeeeeze into the ones I have...Arent you glad I told you that!

Anyway "Life is good" am sitting here drinking my coffee out of my new mug, Burritos on the way, Birthday party at 4:30 than maybe the mall tonight.

Good Saturday Morning all! Hopefully those of us who got no sleep Thursday night had a better nights sleep last night. I have been staying at my friends the past week so I had to pick the dog up at the kennel this morning, parents get home late tonight. Now I sadly have to go back to work and deal with hopefully uncranky customers...haha

Hi everyone

I am finally able to relax a bit between the teens visiting my house and my dd's dance classes and birthdparty invites. Busy Busy Busy.

Could someone please confirm the date for the ornament exchange and where it is.

My cruise doc's will have to be sent to OKW where we will be staying before the cruise. Too bad I was looking forward to getting them in the mail.

We are leaving Dec 4 so I need to get this packing thing done.

Whoever is organizing the stockings (sorry I am forgetting things these days) do you still need dh to bring the cable ties and which size and colour do you want/need.- how many???

My basement is full of wrapped toys and I am close to finished with the organization of this event. Next Saturday it will be done..... and then 2 days later we leave - yippee!!!

Still lots to do. Sounds like you guys were busy on your black friday - we don't have that here!! and as you know our thanksgiving is earlier in October. We also celebrate thanksgiving for a different reason then you guys do. It isn't nearly as important to Cdn's as it is to Americans.

My dad is going in to have an angioplasti test sometime in the next two weeks - likely while we are gone. At that time they will decide whether he needs stents or a bypass surgery. My parents are adament that we go on our trip as planned. I am crossing my fingers that nothing happens while we are gone.

MIL and DH watching stupid stuff on TV...she gets very controlling about the TV after her second or third day here. I just can't sit and watch her stuff, so I think I'll work on something for the cruise....hmmmmm...let me dig out my stuff...

I've been working on packing, a little at a time. Need to get DH's shirts, dress pants, and shoes together but he will be wearing all of them between now and leaving so I guess that stuff will have to wait. I have most everything else packed, though. Need to work on carry-on bags too. I am working on mine. No clue what DH wants to bring and DD will use her new rolling backpack but she takes it to school everyday so will just have to gather her stuff and pack it as a last minute thing.

Three weeks form today, hmmm.... yeah, I can't wait, and it is getting closer and closer!!!!!!!

That is way cool Jen...I signed up to be a cheer leader cause of being gone on the cruise. You will be very busy on your cruise with this....you will need to get internet on the ship but I asumed that you would have that anyway. This should be fun for you since you like playing so much on your comp..

The thing with the celebrities, Kat, they were kicking off a new WPASADI game and people applied for the thread they wanted to represent....Robin and I both followed the whole thing, but didn't apply partly because it would require substantial computer time during the cruise....
